After that day, she was sent to detention again for two hours but he didn't come which she was thankful for.

Now, it's been two months since that day. Two months of no connections (except for their eye contacts). Two months of pain for her to handle. And in that two months she's been watching him. He changed for the eyes of others, but for her he never changed. He's still that guy who she fell in love with. Who fell with her. Who cries on her shoulder when he's troubled or pained. Who gives her sweet kisses. And she's the girl, who has 2 weeks left to live. Her very own body is eating herself up. Every pain hurts but it's nothing compared to the pain she feels emotionally everyday. Sometimes, she doesn't even know if the pain is because of her sickness or the pain eating her heart up inside. I guess it's both... And they're both eating her up.

"Hey are you okay?" Bea asked. Bea and her are now okay, ever since the day she explained to her what was happening (but not everything), she understood. She understood her and supported her. She nodded at her and then smiled to assure her that she is... Or at least that's what she thought.

"Why are you even in school? You should be at the hospital resting," She said and dipped her nachos in cheese.

"You know how much I hate hospitals," She replied.

"Then at home. Rest, Chels." Bea said. Chelsea looked at her and said, "You know I prefer dying with memories than doing nothing at all,"

"Stop. You're not dying okay? Plus, all you ever do is watch him! And every time you watch him... I know you're hurting," Chelsea didn't mind her because she knew, even if she prays a million times, she'll just be wasting time.

"Hahahaha!"

"Yes, I remember! Let's do that some other time again,"

She looked at the people who just arrived. She's been waiting for them... For him.

She saw him smiling. Unlike the smile he had before, this is livelier. She doesn't know anymore if which was the old and which was the new James.

Their eyes met and they didn't cut it. They were just intently starring at each other. She finds it unfair, he gets to move on quick and forget everything. And she's hurting every single day, every single night to be numb the next day and make people believe that she's okay. She says that she is but her face is not showing it, and her mask is what convinces them. She's stressed, wrinkles are nearly appearing, bags under her eyes... It's all written on her face. He's not good in hide and seek, but she's good in this one.

He looked away and she's still starring. They stayed for a few minutes when she decided that she had starred enough. They stood up and left the cafeteria. She took a last deep sigh and wiped her tear then finally went out of the place.

"Students, go to your next class," The librarian told them. She closed the book she's reading. It was still the Fault In Our Stars. And she already finished the book, she's just re-reading it over and over again. How she wished everything could be similar, maybe she'd die happier than this tragic love story of theirs.

She stood up and pushed back the chair. She went at that aisle where she knew he would see him everyday. And there she saw him, with his girlfriend talking silently. As if the world was theirs and everything else didn't matter.

She watched them... She watched them smile, laugh, giggle, hug... And kiss. Sometimes, she doesn't know if they're doing it on purpose knowing that she's there or they were really madly in love with each other now.

This is her. She watched him grow, she watched him cry, she watched him plead to her, she watched him move on... And she watched him slowly walk out of her life. And there's always this missing piece in her heart that he had taken away with him.

She wiped her tear as their kiss finished. She smiled at them and slowly turned her back to him... To her world. And everyday, she would face her world again then turn her back from it... Every single day. And the saddest part? She's no longer his world, she's not even a part of it any longer.
