Outcast To Famous

Chapter Three

By the end of school I was happy to leave. The girls I sat with at lunch had run off right after lunch and since then the popular girls are trying to make me popular with them and the boys were all obsessing over me. So yeah pretty interesting day.

Then Madi (I think her name was) came up to me,"are you as good of singer is your mom?"
I probably have gotten this question like 30 times day.

"Um... I don't know I mean I've never really took the interest in singing!"

"Really? I mean your mom's famous I thought that you'd want to be! I mean I'd want to be! But I mean I'll probably be coming famous model, I mean just look at me!" She excited.

I nodded,"umyeah you never know."

She just gave me her pretty smile and then she was off with her friends.

I went to grab my stuff out of my locker and then I headed to Kris's house.

Once I got there all the other kids were already there.

Sara smiled at me when I entered the house. I just waved to her and then I headed to my room. I hated it here. How was I going to survive another two months, five weeks. Yeah I'm keeping track.

I took up my history book and started answering the questions that Mr. Howard told us to answer.

I heard a knock at the door but I figured one of the people downstairs could get it because I'm upstairs and their by the door.

Sara soon came over by the staircase and yelled upstairs,"Emily there someone at the door for you!"

I got off my bed slowly and walked downstairs to the front door.

Janessa and Britney were standing there. Janessa looked at me and asked,"I was wondering if you would like to come to the park with us?"

"Sure, just give me a sec because I have to go grab my hat and sunglasses," I replied, the only reason I needed it was to drop attention from me.

They wait as I run upstairs. I grab my floppy hat and my shades. And quickly go back downstairs to the front door. The slip on my converse and then we head out to the park.

"Sorry we ditched you after lunch," Britney finally said.

"It's not a big deal Madi helped show me around." I say.

She nods.

We didn't talk from then on out till we got Park. We had over to the bench and sat down.

"What's it like having a famous mom?"  Janessa said looking at me.

"I don't know i mean I never get to see her. She's always so focused on her job. In a way it kinda sucks," I say looking at the ground.

"Have you ever thought of becoming a singer when you get older?" Britney asked.
"Yeah I actually have. But I don't really think I'm as good as my mom. And as foolish as this may sound i'm scared of singing in public,"I confess.

"Same dude same," they replied at the same time.

I laughed at them.

Then Britney's face lit up and she looked at us,"you're scared of singing in front of people. We're scared of singing in front of people. So... Why not make a group. Just us three, singing together in a group!"

I looked at Janessa.

Then Janessa finally replied,"why not, I mean what's the harm in trying?"

I stared at both of them for the longest time then finally said,"it's worth a try!"

They smiled at me excitement rushing through their eyes.

I sighed. What have I gotten myself into?

"To create a group we need to practice, what are you guys available so that we can like practice together?" Janessa asked us.

"You're going to be the one that keeps us on our feet aren't you?"I asked laughing at her.

She nods.

Then Britney says,"she does have a point though, Emily. We do need to practice together to become good."

"I know," I sigh," how about tomorrow 4 o'clock sharp. In this park at the stage."

They stared at me and Janessa says,"and you said I'm the one that can keep us on our feet."

I laugh.

So after we discussed it a little more I said,"I have to go home guys."

They nodded,"see you tomorrow!"

I waved and walked home.

Once I got there I went straight to my room to find Lyric stretched out a crossed over half my bed.

I pushed her over and laid down next to her. She quickly came to cuddle with me. And I soon drifted off to bed.
