Chapter Eight

I woke up to my cat meowing and a pounding on the apartment door. Crap. I'm not suppose to have Lyric here so I quickly grab her a put her in my closet and shut the door.

I open the door and its Louis.

"OMG thank the heavens it's you!" I let out as he comes in.

"Wow after a fight I thought you wouldn't want to see me." He sighs.

"I don't want to see you, but your better then the apartment patrol people," I shrug.

"Why would they come here?" He asks confused.

I shut the door then say," Lyric was being noisy."

"Who's Lyric?" He says even more confused.

"My bæ!" I yell out.

"What!?!?" He stares at me.

I left the room and grabbed Lyric from my closet and came back," this is my bæ!"

He smiles," she's really pretty!"

"I know she's my baby I'd hope so!"

He laughs as I set her down and she quickly runs away.

"How'd you get her in here?" He looks at me.

"Magic! But we should talk about yesterday." I say.

He nods," I'm sorry I was a douche!"

"Yea you really were!" I say then laugh," but why were you?"

"When I invited you over I invited your whole band hoping they'd distract the guys so I could hang with my new friend, but you just hung out with them!" He says," they did all have something to say about you though!"

"I'm sorry and like what?" I ask.

"Harry says your funny, Zayn thought you were cool, Liam said your nice although you only said hi to him, and Niall said he met a new best friend!" He laughs and I smile.

Then I receive a text I look at it and it's from my real mom. I press view.

I randomly hug Louis so I can wipe my tears without him seeing.

"I forgive you," i say," well you better go I have to practice!"

He nods and leaves.

The next couple of days I spent practicing then the day we go back on stage came.

We sat backstage. I wasn't as nervous as the first time, but I was still kinda nervous. We could still get kicked out. Brittany wasn't on today and I was nervous about Paula we have to impress her. We had to change that something into a good something, but the problem is we don't know what that something is.

"Okay your on! Go impress girls!" Douglas tells us.

We walk out on stage.

"Hello how are you guys?" Nicole asks.

"We're good, you?" I ask.

"I'm good thank you! What are you guys singing?" She says smiling.

"Sledgehammer," Alex says.

"Begin when ready!" Simon speaks up.

We all begin-

Simon put up a hand," that's enough!"

"Wow I think you guys improved! I liked the energy you put in the song! Paula you said no to these guys last time?" Nicole says.

"I agree these girls changed from the last round they've gotten better. I feel they put more preparation into this song," Paula says.

Simon looks at us," let's vote, Nicole?"

"Yes, Paula?" She asks.

"Yes, and you Simon?" She asks.

"I'm gonna have to say... Yes!" He announces," good job girls!"

"Thank You!!" We all say at once.
