Outcast To Famous

Chapter Thirteen

"Welcome girls!" Simon says as we walk through the door at ten sharp.                         

No one responds we just sit down on the edge of the stage. He had us meet where we preform live for the X Factor.

"Alright lets get right to it!" He chirps, "The fans after your first performance get to pick what songs you are going to sing. Then if you make it t the final week, week seven, you sing your original again! Okay?" He asks making sure we are listening.

We all simply nod.  

"Good! So the fans made their decision yesterday. They came up with the song_" he stops to add suspension.

I hate when people do that.

He continues,  "The song 'Stand By you'."

"Yes!!!!" we all say at once jumping off the stage.

"I wish you would add more of that joyfulness into everything I say," He mumbles.

Janessa and I laugh quietly.

"Alright that song is song by one person originally. We need to make it a five person song!"

(A/N The song above is the song they will be sing)

"I will take the echo part," Britany Says.

"I'll take the pat from there to the line 'cause I'm going to stand by you'" Janessa says.

"I'll take from after that line to 'cause I'm going to stand by you" I say.

"You can all sing the chorus," Simon nods.

"I'll take from 'yeah, you're all I never knew I needed to 'cause I'm going to stand by you'," Lexi says.

"I will take from there to 'Cause I'm going to stand by you'," Alex finally says.

"Then all of you take the chorus. Brittany how about you jump back in from 'I'll be your eyes till yours can't shine' up to the chorus again," Simon says," And Emily you take the echo at the end and Lexi sing the last verse!"

"Yay we got it all figured out!" I say.

"Wrong!" Simon announces," If you forgot we have dance moves to come up with! That is why I brought in a specialist in dance!"

"Yay," Lexi says sarcastically.

A girl with black hair walks into the room.

"Hello my names Amanda. I have been in dance since I was about five. Like my first teacher said 'I expect you all to listen to what I have to say and if you don't there are consequences'," She simply states then plasters on a smile.

I really do not like this girl. We all nod.

"Good! Simon I have it from here. You should leave now!" Amanda tells Simon.

I have never seen someone talk to Simon that way.

Once Simon left she turned to us, "What song are we dancing to?"

"Stand By You," Lexi says.

"Ooh I like that song," Amanda squeals then says, "OH guys I am not that mean Simon wanted someone strict so I had to act strict!"

I start laughing and all the girls stare at me, "What is so funny?" Brittany asks.

"I was so nervous that Amanda was a strict Idiot!" I say laughing.

"Same actually," they all tell me.

Amanda was also giggling, "OK Girls just because I am not that strict does not mean you guys are just going to slack! I expect you guys to get this routine done in a couple days."
