Chapter 40

We went downstairs and found Ross and Stormie doing fries. "Here ya go!"Stormie said handing us a plate of fried chickens then Ross brought the fries.

"Thank you"I said and they smiled. "There's a pool in the backyard"Stormie said making Ross look at me with a smirk. "Danny, I knew about your loss, I'm really sorry"she said "its okay"I smiled. I felt Ross's hand on my thight. "How old are you?"Rydel asked "17, same as Ross"I said and she smiled. "For how long do you guys know eachother?"she asked. I looked over at Ross and he answered for me "almost our whole life". "When is my grandchild coming?"Stormie smiled and I laughed "when we get married"I answered and she laughed.

We finished our food and decided to go to Ross's room. "They are really nice"I smiled "they've always been"he smiled. "You going to the pool with me?"he asked "yeah"I answered. "Fuck, I ain't got nothing to wear"I cursed "wait here"Ross said.

He returned with a white bikini, which I think its Rydels' and some pool pants for him. I change infront of him and he stops me "you're still beautiful"he said making circles with his thumb on my waist. I finished and we went to the pool.

"Danny!"I heard Rydel call out as she threw me a nerf gun. "Thanks"I said and started shooting Ross. "You're supposed to be by my side"he said "nope, she's with me"Rydel answered. Soon enough we were on top of Ross laughing. "I'll do anything, you want"he whinned "go bring us two cokes"Rydel smiled, and he did as he was told. "Let's run up to my room and leave him here"she whispered and I nodded.

We ran upstairs and locked the door. "Well what now?"I asked "I don't know"she smiled. "Danny... Rydel... Where are you?"a voice said, but I knew it wasn't Ross. "That's him"she said "I wouldn't be so sure"I whispered under my breath. The door slammed opened and a bad power entered the room "Danny, are you okay?"I heard Rydel say, but there were too many voices talking. When I looked over at Rydel she suddenly was knocked out. I tried to move over to her, but I couldn't move "Rydel"I called out, but she wouldn't wake up.

The room felt so cold at the moment, but I still was warm. I finally could move a bit, "you should run"a voice said "your my precious" I checked Rydel's heart and it was beating thank God. "Your mine!"the voice groweled "fuck you!"I yelled and the room went back to its normal state. I ran downstairs to find Ross standing still "Ross?"I called, but he wouldn't turn around. I grabbed his arm and he finally turned around. His eyes were fully black, his skin was cold, too cold and his heart wasn't beating at all. "You, destroyed me"he said with a demon voice.

Next thing I know I collasped with the wall and blacked out.

*2 hours later*

I woke up in Ross's room and my skin was too cold, just like Ross's earlier. I looked around, but he wasn't here.

I walked over to Rydel's room, to find them talking. I knocked on the door and Ross embraced me in a hug. "Are you okay?"he asked worried "yeah"I answered "what happened? I don't remember anything."Ross said. "I was here with Ry, she was knocked out. I checked her and her heart wasn't beating. I ran downstairs to look for you and you had black eyes, then you said "you destroyed me" and flew me to the wall knocking me out."I said and Ross took a step back "I'm dangerous to you"he whispered "Ross, I don't care"I affirmed "What if it happens again? What if you end up dead?"he worried "Don't leave me"I warned "I need to go out"he whispered "Ross"I called out and he looked "I love you, don't go"I said "I love you more. I'll be back."he said, but I knew he wasn't coming back, he didn't want to hurt me. I went over to Ry who was waiting for me to hug her and I did "you could stay over in my room or Ross's room."she smiled "I'll stay in his room."

I went to Ross's room and laid on his bed, I put my phone to charge and fell asleep.

*3:00am*

I woke up and Ross was sitting across the room. "Why did you left?"I asked "I don't want to hurt you."he answered "but? You left like nothing, you didn't want to comeback right?"I said and he shook his head "I just... I'm really sorry Danny"he said "I-I-I... I'm gonna call Joe."I said and got up, as I was gonna leave the room, I looked at Ross, but he stared at the window.

I was dissapointed, but I shook it off. I went downstairs and to the pool. I could sense Joe closer till she was already sitting next to me "Ross?"she asked and I nodded "Ross had a bad demon inside that flew me to the pool and now he doesn't want to hurt me no more, so he started to get distanced."I sighed "you know Ross, he's trying to keep you safe, but he's going too far."she stated. "I just want him to be with me and not try to keep me safe by distancing himself from me." "Are you gonna spend the night here?"she asked "I don't think I will."I said "let's go to Matt's place"she smiled and I nodded "let me get my stuff"I said and she waited.

I went upstairs and Ross was laying in bed "where are you going?"he asked "to Matt's house with Joe"I answered "oh... Okay"he agreed "aren't you gonna stop me?"I added "I don't want to hurt you"he said "so you preffer me being far than here with you facing our problems together?"I asked "I-I... Danny, I love you"he said, I grabbed my stuff and left him alone. I wasn't pissed off, just that my boyfriend wouldn't stay with me made me want to leave him alone.
