Chapter 27

"LEAVE HIM ALONE!"I yelled at James who is holding Ross, but wait the fuck down.

"You are a demon?"I asked and he looked at me. "So are you darling, your blondie boyfriend here didn't tell you?"he said and I looked at Ross who's eyes were glossy. "Baby, you are a demon just like us. Guess your boyfriend keeps things from you."James said "I don't! I wanted to protect you!"Ross said.

I felt strange things entering my body, demons. I threw James away with my powers and he dissapered, letting Ross fall to the ground and I fall too. My eyes got blurry and tears left them.

The door flew open reaveling Joe "what happened?"she asked. She looks at Ross and she looks at me "fuck"she whispered. I look at Ross and he said "she's one too" making me look over at Joe.

She walked over to me, but Matt barged in. "Why did you leave me like that?"he asked "I didn't leave you, I just-"she got cut off by him "how in the fuck you got here?"he asked yelling. "I was uhm... I didn't leave you... I give up."she whispered at the end. "And why are you two on the floor?"Matt yelled. "Matt"I whispered, but he wouldn't care. "I need you to hear me out!"she yelled "what?"he snapped "Me, Ross a-"she started but he cut her off "wait so you and Ross are what? Huh?"he yelled "We are nothing! Me, Ross and Danny are demons!"she said as her eyes turned completly black, and she was making things shake. "Fuck"I mumbled and Ross came behind me, holding my hand.

I looked at him and he gave me a "this is fucked up" face, but I turned around. "Get the fuck away from me! You demon! I've been dating a demon? Fuck you and you two! You two stay away! I can't believe you Danny!"he yelled and Joe stopped and was tearing up. Ross was walking straight over to him, but Matt turned around "Don't you fucking dare"he warned and he drove away.

I ran over to Joe and she was crying hard. "Come on let's go to my room."I said and grabbed her hand. We walked in my room and sat on my bed. "Hey, everything is gonna be ok? Let him take time."Ross said and I didn't look at him, but I know he went away. "He is right, Matt can be an asshole sometimes."I said and she shook her head "I'm the one that shouldn't have even date him."she sobbed.

I cupped her face in my hands and looked straight in her eyes. "Joe, you are beautiful. Matt loves you, he really does. He has never acted so in love with a girl, like he does with you. He is just a bit of an asshole, just give him time."I said and she nooded. I flashed her a smile and she smiled back "I want you to rest, okay? Sleep here, oh and you can go to the kitchen whenever you want."I said and she smiled wider. I gave her a hug and a kiss on her forehead.

As I was about to leave the room, she called my name "Don't be mad at Ross, he was trying to protect you. Trust me, he loves you more than anything else in this universe."she said making my heart warm. "Thanks"I smiled and left the room.

I walked over to mom's room which is Ross and my room now. Ross was sitting in the bed looking at the wall. "Ross?"I called out, but he wouldn't answer "Ross?"I called again. When I finally saw his face, he had tears running down. "Babe, what's wrong?"I asked feeling heartbroken by his tears. I sat on his lap and he wrapped his arms around me. "I know you're mad with me, and I'll tell you why I didn't want you to know."he started "When I was 13, I had a friend, and he had bad demons just like James. One day he came to my house and he started talking about demons. I was just like you, I didn't know I was a demon. He started talking weird stuff and his eyes got black and he started moving stuff and then I felt the demons entering my body. I didn't have an option, but to stay demon to die or protect you. I decided you. I lost my mom and sister just because of that stupid friend. The girl I was staring at in Ihop was my sister. It's been years since I don't see her and man I miss her and mom."he stopped and cried.

Ross has been through so much shit and he gave it all up for a girl he didn't even know. "I didn't want you to know, because I don't want you to dissapear like me, I want you to live, for us to be together, I want you to acomplish your dreams. Even if I was asked in another life to be a demon or take care of you, I would choose you. I love you so much Danny, but all I've done is hurt you."he said. I couldn't help but cry too, he was so broken and I was the bandage that made him feel complete.
