Chapter 3

The cats padded though the Twolegplace. Stormfire bristled. Her mate Mousewing comforted her, walking side by side with her.
Oh my kits. I can't wait for you to be born. I pray the clan will be healed then.

Suddenly Fallowflower bristled. Stormfire instinctively unsheathed her claws, crouching ready to fight. A sleek furred black she-cat with yellow eyes appeared. Her gaze shifted over the clan cats as if sizing them up.

"Can we help you?" Cloudpelt asked.

The she-cat stuck her nose in the air narrowing her eyes at Cloudpelt. "Leaving would be nice. Go back to your crowfood you disgusting ruffians,"

"Excuse me?" Cloudpelt asked.

"Well your from Skyclan aren't you? You smell like them. Your disgusting." the she-cat hissed.

Stormfire bristled. Looking over at her companions she saw Fallowflower's lips drawn back into a snarl. Mousewing growled. Even Hazelberry looked, annoyed her eyes narrowed. Cloudpelt looked like he was trying to keep calm but his ruffled fur betrayed it.

"We aren't from Skyclan. We are from other clans far awa-"

The black she-cat snorted cutting Cloudpelt off. "I don't care what clan you're from just go away!"

"We are travelling through the Twolegplace," Cloudpelt explained.

"Just try to stop us," Fallowflower spat.

The she-cat snickered. "I know every corner of this place. I can take you through for a price,"

Fallowflower snorted walking off. The black she-cat drew a paw over her ear. "If you go that way you'll end up where the dogs live,"

"What's the price?" Stormfire asked slightly annoyed that they were asking for help from this annoying furball.

The black she-cat had an important look on her face. "That's more like it! But the price will be negotiated at the end of our journey. Tell me of your names,"

"My name is Hazelberry and these are Stormfire, Mousewing, Cloudpelt and Fallowflower," Hazelberry told her.

"My name is Sakura. Now let's be on our way," the black she-cat purred.

Reluctantly the cats followed her.
