The six cats stopped when they came to a stream. They drank and Rainkit splashed about in the water. Fallowflower swam. The Riverclan cat looked happier then Stormfire had ever seen her.
Stormfire purred watching Rainkit play. Suddenly the silver tabby kit slipped falling in the water as the currents dragged her away.
"Rainkit!" Stormfire screeched.
Fallowflower swam quickly towards the little kit who was struggling to keep her tiny head above the water. Then Stormfire began to hear s loud roar. Screeching she raced along the bank following the two cats.
Fallowflower grabbed Rainkit's scruff swimming to the shore and placing her there. The Riverclan cat was just about to get out of the water when suddenly she fell.
Horror filled Stormfire as she watched the Riverclan cat fall down the waterfall.
I'm half Riverclan.
As the thought swirled in her mind Stormfire climbed down the slippery rocks. She leapt into the water swimming ungraciously to where Fallowflower had fallen in.
Sticking her head into the water she saw the Riverclan cat who looked stunned. Stormfire grabbed her by the scruff dragging her out of the water.
Stormfire sighed with relief. Suddenly Hazelberry appeared splashing through the water the running to where Fallowflower lay.
The Thunderclan cat placed two paws on Fallowflower's chest and pushed down. Hazelberry kept doing it until Fallowflower vomited water, and a live fish.
Fallowflower looked dazed as she stood.
"She'll have to stay here and rest," Hazleberry meowed. "I think she hit herself onto the rocks,"
"I'll get the others," Stormfire meowed.
She swam back towards the rocks and climbed them. Mousewing and Cloudpelt were waiting with Rainkit.
"Fallowflower's dazed and Hazelberry says she has to rest," Stormfire reported.
"Looks like we are going down there," Cloudpelt meowed unenthusiastically.
Stormfire picked up Rainkit and took the tiny kit down the rocks carefully. Then she swam cautiously to where Hazelberry sat with Fallowflower.
Cloudpelt and Mousewing followed Stormfire and all six cats saw on the bank. Stormfire looked back into the water. It was filled with fish.
