*Stella's POV*
Over the next couple weeks I started seeing more changes. My hair was getting thinner, I felt sick, and half the time I couldn't even dance. I was officially put on a week long rest period from dance. Which meant basically I wasn't allowed in the studio until I could stand for more than five minutes on my own.
Through this whole time I hadn't seen Josh at all but it honestly wouldn't surprise me if he knew. Mike would have found out from Katarina.
I was sitting on the couch, drinking some water and watching a movie when the door bell rang. I thought it was kind of weird considering no one had even texted me through the whole week but I got up and answered it. Looking down at the floor, I opened the door. I looked up at my guest and saw it was Josh. Instantly, shock came over my face, but I quickly covered it up with a polite smile.
"Hey Josh," I said, smiling a little more. I rubbed my arm awkwardly while I spoke.
He looked me over, once, twice, three times in a row. His eyebrows furrowed by the second time and by the third look-over he looked completely worried.
He frowned slightly as his eyes met mine again. "Hey Stella...can we talk?" He asked.
I shrugged, having nothing better to do I didn't see why not.
"Sure," I said. "Come on in." I moved over so he could walk in and closed the door behind him. Something seemed off about him today, and it made me a little nervous...
*Josh's POV*
I felt nervous as I knocked on Stella's door. I could tell the last time I saw her that something was wrong, and I had a fair idea of what it was. It had bothered me for weeks but I didn't know how to bring it up. Finally I decided to gather my courage and just come right out and say it.
When Stella opened the door my heart nearly jumped out of my chest, she looked pale, sick, fragile...even kind of scared. She looked up and for a split second I could have sworn she was shocked.
"Hey Josh." She said. I looked her over a couple times, my worried feeling getting stronger with each time.
"Hey Stella.." I paused. "Can we talk?"
She shrugged, her shoulders looking small and frail. "Sure. Come on in."
She moved to the side so I could enter. I stepped in and started towards her living room. She closed the door and followed behind me. I wondered if she knew I knew something was up.
I sat down in a chair and she sat on the couch. She reached over to turn off the TV before saying, "So what's up?"
I looked down at my hands and examined them for a minute. I had thought hard and long about how exactly I would bring this up.
Eventually I looked back up at her. Taking a deep breath, I said, "Stella what's wrong?"
She looked startled, like a deer caught in headlights. "N-nothing's wrong Josh..."
"Don't lie. I know something's up, I realized it a couple weeks ago when we ran into each other. Please, I know our relationship is kinda....impossible to describe but I still care about you. Just tell me what's wrong."
She sighed and ran her hands through her hair. "I don't know...I guess after we fought I just didn't feel right...like I had no will to do anything. I mean, I felt like that before but it just got worse."
I got up and moved to sit beside her on the couch, taking both her hands. "Stella I'm so sorry...our fight was tough on me too but I had no idea it did this to you."
