"Wow! What a great way to start my day"

Amy's POV
I just dislike him now. I don't care if I would have known him or what, but that's not the way you approach somebody. He could have been polite. He didn't even help me cluster the books and give it to me. I'm taken away from my thoughts when this guy with Hazel eyes and blonde hair walks up to me and helps me pick up my stuff. Half of it in his hand, he introduces himself with a firm handshake.
"Hey, I'm Jake and you're..."
"I'm Amy" I say with a smile
"Ah! Amy... You must be new in here want me to show you around this campus?" He asks me, politely.
"That's Great. Thank you so much" I say with a smile
He tours me around this humongous University and it's beautiful. There are so many different building inside which could satisfy almost every wants of us teenagers. Its like a small town!
"And this is the cafeteria.." He says pointing at the building
"Hmm.. Thank you so much! Its a pretty huge campus!" No shit. I was just comparing it to a small town!
"Yeah, you'll do great! See you around, bye" he says, lending me my stuff back and waving to me with a bright smile
"Thanks again!" I say

I found out where my room is and its pretty fascinating that my first roommate is going to be a geek! She's very pretty and has a beautiful smile. I didn't speak to her much except that her name is Alisha and she's from Detroit. She looks simple and nice and I already like her because of her sense of humour!
"And you're from..." Alisha asks
"Amsterdam. I'm from Amsterdam." I say, placing my stuff on my desk
"Oh. I'm excited! Its my first year and you're my first ever roommate. Its going to be fun I hope!" She says with a bright smile
"Haha yes!" I say, getting a bit creeped out
"So what are your plans for today ha?" Alisha asks
"Just arrange my stuff, grab dinner and sleep" I say
"Sounds fun" she says. What the fuck? That sounds fun?
I guess she's just avoiding the conversation from getting awkward, but I don't want the conversation to last any longer. I'm tired and i need to call up Jessica and Sydney later. ( Jessica is her step-mother )

Just as I lock my room to go out and grab dinner, guess who I bump into... 'Mr strange guy'
The one I despise.
"I'm sorry" he apologizes.
Okay...
"Ah. Its fine" I say, trying to avoid eye contact. I quickly walk away without another word and my walk to the cafeteria is pretty long. Somebody calls out to me and I turn back.
Its Jake. For some reason my stomach flutters on seeing him. He looks.. He looks... So hot. Its a different kind of hot maybe. Did he look the same when i first met him?
He jogs towards me and gives me this sheet on which there's a lot of information about the fresher's party.
"Its for the fresher's this Sunday I hope to see you there! Bye..Amy..right?" Jake says, running his fingers through his hair.
..
He coughs. "Don't look at me like that" he says blushing and embarrassed. What the fuck? Was I staring at him all this while. Way to go Amy!
"I'm..I'm.. Sorry. I was.. Just.. Uhm..." I'm more embarrassed
"Geez chill. I'll see you around,bye" he walks away, giggling.
Okay...
I just walk away and as I reach the cafeteria I just have some biscuits and milk and I'm off to my room!
..
I decide against calling Jessica and Sydney, arrange my stuff, set my alarm and I'm in my bed all warm and cozy.
I wonder when will Alisha come back. I didn't see her after I left for the cafeteria..
