Percy's POV

I'm currently running down the sidewalk because I may have stopped to get something to eat while I'm supposed to be setting up my date with Annabeth. Shoot me. I was hungry. I check my watch. Crap. Crap. It's 7:55 and I'm ten minutes away from CHB. I groan and start running faster.

Annabeth's POV

It's 8:00 sharp. But knowing Percy, he won't be her for another 15 minutes. I finally crest the hill to find that Percy is actually here! Though he is laying on his back and panting .. Was he stabbed? Ohmigods.

"PERCY!!!!!!" I screech, thinking he is hurt. He turns his head toward me and a slow smile creeps across his face.

"Wise Girl," he says with that same creepy grin.  I send him a weird look and proceed to check his chest for any sword or knife holes.  Once I am sure he hasn't been stabbed,  I help him up and say, "You scared me, I thought you were hurt!"  I punch his arm pretty hard.

"So where are you taking me?"

Percy doesn't say anything, just takes my hand and drags me down the hill.  I saunter after him and am shocked when I see the limousine parked at the road.  Percy opens my door and helps me in side then follows me in. The driver, Angus, looks back at Percy , then nods. I feel the limo begin to move steadily under me.

I glance over at Percy to see that he is already looking down at me adoringly. "You look absolutely stunning!" Percy whispers. I blush deeply and look at my toes. Only Percy can do this to me, make me this weak. But I love it.

After about 10 minutes in the limo, we slowly come to halt, Percy opens the door. He takes my hand and helps me out.

"Close your eyes, Wise girl." I do as he says, although the warrior in me tells me not to. Soon the ground changes and my feet begin to slip in the fine substance.

"Percy ....."

"S'alright I got you!"

He leads me a little further and then tells me to open my eyes. I gasp and nearly pass out when I see what Percy has prepared for me. Roses. Rose petals are strewn around the beach. They seem to have no particular shape, but then I see they lead to a picnic blanket with the roses placed in a heart around it. There is a full moon tonight, the moonlight hits the water in the most beautiful way.

"Oh my gods," I whisper.

"Do you like it?" Percy looks at me expectantly.

"Yes, Seaweed Brain, I love it!" I lean in and give him a short, sweet kiss on his perfect lips.

He smiles broadly as I lean away from him. He gently takes my hand and leads me to the blanket. We sit down and he pulls out an assortment of my favorite foods.

We finish eating and both of us lay back and look at the stars. I feel Percy start to fidget uncomfortably. I glance over at him and he seems to be thinking hard.

"Annabeth.." He starts. I sit up to look at him better. He sits up too.

"I have loved you since that first time I saw you when we were 12.  We have been friends for 10 years now.  We have been dating for 6.  And I love you more than anyone ever will ever love anyone else.  Will you please give me the honor of being yours forever?" Tears come to my eyes as Percy pulls out a small box from his pocket.  I let out a sob-laugh as he fumbles to open it.

"Will you marry me?"
