Annabeth's Birthday

Chapter 1

A/N this is the first fanfiction that I've posted. Please tell me what you think and if I should continue writing. Ps I know that by 22 they should be out of CHB but I'm just going to ignore that for now. Enjoy :)
~Annabeth's Pov~
   I woke up early to go see Percy in his cabin.  I quickly made my way across the cold, dew covered grass.
   When I made it to the door, I knocked quietly and whispered, "Percy."
   No answer.
   I silently open the door and squeeze inside. He is laying on his bed sleeping peacefully. I contemplate leaving, so as not to wake him up. Then I remember, nothing can wake Percy when he is sleeping, except a nightmare of course. I decide to crawl in bed with him. He wraps an arm around my waist, and engulfs me in a bear hug. He breathes deeply, but doesn't wake up.

~Percy's Pov~
   I wake up to my face itching like crazy. I reach my hand up and feel Annabeth's long, soft blond curls. I smile softly.
   She flips over to face me, smiles and buries her face in my chest.
   "Good morning, beautiful." I whisper.
   "Mornin'," She says still half asleep.
   We lay cuddled together for a few more minutes, until we hear the breakfast bell.
   "I don't wanna!" I groan. "Can't we skip breakfast? I have food stocked up in here!"
   "No, Seaweed Brain. We have to go." She says briskly and starts to get up.
   I mutter incoherently under my breath and climb out of my bed. I start to get dressed for the day as Annabeth slips quietly out the door.

~3rd Person Pov~
Annabeth walks over to the Athena table and glances over at Percy sitting with Tyson. She smiles softly at seeing him so happy with his little brother. 
   She finishes her food quickly and joins Percy to train the campers. Percy is the sword instructor. Annabeth is the battle strategy captain and instructs the hand to hand combat class.
A/N sorry that was pretty short. The coming chapters will be longer once I get deeper into the story. I plan to have about 5 chapters.
