These horrid things stuck to my teeth,
These torture things from underneath.
They scratch and scrape my mouth a lot,
They keep stuff in my mouth to rot.
These nasty white elastic bands
Only create saliva strands .
They say I'll have a gorgeous smile,
But only if I wait a while.
They've stuck around for far too long,
I hope I'm right; they say I'm wrong.
Six extra months you'll have to wait,
The dentist says you're running late.
