Ch - 14 An Evening Out

Hey guys !
This is probably the second last chapter..... and an Amian one!

Third Person's P.O.V

I hope you are not taking me to the library, love Ian teased Amy

Amy gave him a glare and then focused on the view outside the window.

Amy had agreed to go on only one condition-that they would not travel in a limo and Ian had finally agreed

Amy had already given the driver directions and had left Ian in the dark

Amy decided to make small talk
So.... how was your stay she asked, miraculously without her stutter

It was good fun Ian sighed seriously
It will be boring going back to work now....

Amy pondered over the fact that Ian had to work, now that he and Naralie were.... kind of orphans

Last Amy knew he had been working at a job center which did bring some money but it was no use with Natalie's luxurious life

Maybe I could get some modelling job for Natalie and maybe Ian too Amy thought

Soon they reached the place.
Come on Amy said

Before them spread a huge stretch of water, a mix of turquoise and seagreen. The area was surrounded with lush green trees and bushes. Amy took a deep breath and smiled. The air here was always cool and fresh

Ian looked around at the scenery

Pretty place

Amy nodded and went to rent a boat.

Minutes later Ian and Amy were paddling in a boat across the pond.

Amy stooped the boat in the middle and took out some bread crumbs and fed to the ducks.

You come here often? an asked

No, Amy sighed. Dan thinks the place is boring but I love this place. Its so quiet, beautiful and peaceful. All my stress vanishes. Its as good as a library

A smile tugged at Ian's mouth

Otherwise you would have taken me to a library? he asked

Amy laughed. Ian smiled. Her laugh was beautiful. The way her red hair bounced...

No, Dan was just teasing me...

Suddenly Amy turned serious

I've been wanting to ask you something she said quietly

Go ahead Ian said even though he felt a little nervous

Back in the water park... why didn't you shoot me? I mean Vikram is your family and... I know you guys feel outsiders among the other Cahills...

Ian sighed as he fixed his gaze on a duck who was humgrily eating the crumbs

Look at that duck he said
He is eating all the bread crumbs greedily while those three ducklings are not getting much to eat...

Vikram and Isabel.... they're like that. They didn't care for us much.
Maybe Isabel did in the end but they don't exactly love us. They are greedy and look for their profit and benefit.
What exactly Vikram wants... I don't know but I am sure he hasn'tcome to show his sympathy.

Where had he been all these years....
When we were alone. All the other Cahills supported us. They became our family... and its our fault we don't merge in...
I would have never shot you of all people he said and looked at Amy

Amy blushed slightly

Let me take you somewhere now Ian said and they peddled to the shore

Ian took Amy to a park no far away from the lake.
The grass was green but the leaves of trees were turning yellow and orange and were clustered beneath the trees
The place was rather quiet and even had a fountain

The two of them spread out a picnic cloth under a large tree and unpacked some food

After some lemonade and cupcakes Amy and Ian lay down on their backs and watchee the sky through the canopy of the tree leaves

This was one of the few places I visited here and liked Ian said after a while

Its nice Amy mumbled

Quiet Ian agreed

Amy he said after a couple of minutes

Hmmm she replied

I am really sorry for Korea

Amy's world stopped for a moment and she turned to look into Ian's eyes which were burning with an intensity

I really liked you and I didn't want to hurt you...but Isabel made me do it. That is one decision of my life that I regret most of all... you have always beenso kind to me... and I just want to apologize...

Amy looked at Ian and bit at her lip
Ian had been a jerk earlier but he was fine now. Infact, even likeable. Besides after what he had done at that water park... somewhere inside her Amy had already forgiven her

I forgive you Amy said in a whisper and smiled

A similar smile broke at Ian's face
They both slowly sat up.

Really? Ian asked

Amy nodded

He leaned forward, his face brushing her hair and she could feel his breath at her neck which made her skin tingle

I love you he whispered in her ear.

Amy's heart started racing but she said nothing.

But she didn't stop him either when he enveloped her in the world's best kiss ever.

Awww Amian!
Okay so I'll be writing one final chapter of this amazing ( at leasr its amazing for me ) book. I cann't beleive this was my first work and I have come so far since then!

A tiny part of me regrets finishing this book but every good thing needs to end guys...

Also I have a small surprise for you guys....
Which will be published in the next and the last chapter which wouldn't be published until I get 1K reads...
