Ch-13 Out Of Danger

Amy's P.O.V

When I woke up I was lying on a soft bed. My bed. There was a bandage on my head and one on my shoulder too. I had a slight headache. Next to my bed stood a glass of water.

I realised that my throat felt like it had taken a walk through the Sahara Desert. I tried to prop myself next to the pillow behind me when someone's hands reached around my shoulders to steady me.

I looked up. Ian I said and my voice came out raspy

Ian smirked and handed me the glass of water. I quickly gulped it down.

We were at the water park I struggled to remember
And I hit my head I grimaced and touched the bandage

Yes. Ian said
We escaped from there and brought you back home. You have been unconscious since 2 days

Wow. It had seemed like a few hours to me

Everyone is worried about you Ian continued
Dan had been sitting here but he went down just now to get a snack

You guys didn't spoil your visit because of me, did you? I demanded

Ian chuckled.
The Holts were too restless. Besides Nellie said you would kill her if you found out so they went to the mall, and an arcade zone

I smiled. Nellie knows me well

Lets go outside I said and without waiting for his answer, pushed open the door

When I reached downstairs I saw Dan munching on a cheeseburger while Jonah, Ted, Ned and Hamilton were playing on the PlayStation. Natalie was applying nailpolish and Sinead seemed to be reading a book, about science I guess. Reagan and Madison were thumb wrestling and Phoneix was humming a song and glancing at the boy's game.

As soon as Dan saw me he whooped with delight and gave me a bone-crushing hug

Its all right I said and smiled while ruffling his hair

The others gathered around and asked me how I was

I'm fine I told them all

I just wish that I had woken up early so that I could have spent more time with you guys. I guess you have to go tomorrow...

Everyone nodded and looked sad

Suddenly I got a brilliant idea

He guys I said

We can still do something. Lets write down all our names on chits and pair up two people. Those two people will be partners for the day and can visit their favourite places together!

That's a brilliant idea Sinead grinned and everyone agreed enthusiastically

Are you up for it? Dan whispered to me

Sure dweeb I answered and got out some pen and paper

The pairs that were made were

Dan and Natalie, Sinead and Hamilton, Reagan and Ned, Meagan and Jonah, Phoneix and Ted and Ian and I

Dan and Natalie had groaned and complained a lot but rules are rules

Lets just hope they both don't end up killing each other

Others were more or less fine with their partners and everyone started making plans. Although you could see the glaring contest between Dan and Natalie...

I sighed and turned to face Ian. I'll go and get changed into something decent I said and walked out

I came down wearing a white half sleeve top and a faded emerald skirt and of course Grace's necklace

Ian had changed into a white cotton shirt and blue jeans. I looked away so he wouldn't see me blush and comprehended the fact that he wasn't wearing designer clothes

So where are we going , Love he said in his silky voice with his signature smirk

I sighed. Now that I was back to normal he wouldn't stop teasing and irritating me

You'll see I replied and we left the mansion together

Dan's P.O.V

Great! Just my luck that I got paired with Natalie that little brat!

It was taking her hours to change. Amy was luckier. She got a chance to spend time with her boyfriend while I was stuck with this snob

Finally Natalie came down wearing a dark blue dress that ended just above her knees and had a bow at the waist

Of course she was carrying a matching purse and wearing matching accesories

I scowled at her.
I thought you were planning to have your wedding

Nat ignored me sashayed ahead
Lets go to the mall she said

I stared at her.
What! No! We went there just before the water park

To buy swimingsuits she pointed out

I gritted my teeth.
No. We are going to the arcade zone

Natalie's eyes flashed.
Never

Oh yes I said

She brought out her dart gun
No

I kicked it out of her hand
Yes. I am the boss here

Would you to stop it a voice came from behind.

I turned to see Sinead and Hamilton
Sinead was wearing jeans and a white blouse and yellow jacket
Hamilton grinned at our fight while Sinead had a scowl on her face

You two are supposed to cooperate she said

But she wants to go to the mall and I want to go to the arcade zone I protested

Why don't you go to a mall which has an arcade zone? Sinead suggested

I had to admit it was a good idea
I nodded and walked out with Natalie behind me

An hour later when we reached the mall I was very happy to step out of the car.

Natalie had constantly been applying makeup during the ride and had shrieked if the car even turned.

I raced to the arcade zone.
