You could say my life was normal before I ended up in Ridgemond being dubbed as "mentally unstable".
I have a pretty normal family and a group of friends. Or at least I did.

"Bye mom, gotta go!" I kissed my mother's cheek and started walking.
One of the perks of having a house just eight blocks away from your school.
"Skye, here!" Mariah said as she pointed to the vacant seat next to Lizzie.
I gave them a wave as I sat beside them and joined the conversation.
"So, my parents went to Rome last week and I was like, 'Oh my God, Why didn't you tell me?!' And they told me it was unplanned and I was like 'Well next time don't forget to include your one and only daughter to your trips, especially ones in Europe!' and they planned a trip to Paris for our Christmas break." Lizzie explained.
"I'm so jealous of you! I always wanted to go to Paris and shop. The clothes there as so gorgeous! I saw a chanel outfit in this month's Vogue that's gonna be released there and it would look so perfect on me!" Mariah replied.
Yes, they're my friends.
And no, I'm not like that.Regardless of their attitude and personality, they're pretty good friends.
I met them in Freshman year, on third week of school. We were in Biology together and I was staring at Drew Reynolds, the former love of my life a.k.a team soccer captain, who is now dating Fergie Harris, the Queen Bee, which by the way is a relationship I do not agree on because of her bitchy attitude and the utter clichèness of their story. I mean, the captain and the queen? Typical. How sweet is it when Drew notices me, the shy, innocent, sweet girl, and starts to like me and then I start feeling like a beautiful princess because my long time crush finally noticed me and told me he loves me and then afterwards, we'll get married and have lots of babies.
Okay, maybe I did just describe every romance novel I've ever read.
Back to the topic.
So, I was staring at him and someone sat next to me and whispered: " I would so take a bite of him!"
I looked at my right and saw two pretty blonde girls, who were now also staring at Drew.
"How hot can that guy be? It's impossible for him to look that hot." She was still staring and she turned her head to me. "I'm Mariah, by the way." She smiles at me with those perfect set of teeth and I shook her hand in return.
"Skye." I smiled.
"Oh my god, I love your hair! Anyways, I'm Lizzie. You have to sit with us on lunch. You seem nice enough. The gang'll love you." The other one said as she shrugged.
"But you just met me." I said, dumbfounded.
"Meh, it's okay. Don't worry about it." Mariah said.
I did, and they introduced me to their other friends, Cliff, Rosie and Stephan. They seemed friendly enough and we started talking and hanging out everyday until they welcomed me to the group.
They always did rascalities in school and they would always pressure me to do those with them, regardless of my persistence not to.
They were fun to hang out with, but sometimes I feel left out or different. I don't share that much about me and sometimes I kept stuff all to myself because I don't feel like they'll understand, but I ignored those feelings. After all, they were still my friends.
