Will Riley find out? Prepared to have your mind blown.

Riley and I hanged out in her room, as always doing homework, we were taking a break, so we chat a little.

"Isn't Lucas a sweetheart? He so amazing." She smiles and hugs her journal that she wrote about their dates.

I roll my eyes. "Yeah, such a sweetheart." I smile.

"You're interested again?"

I nod. "Of course. Almost every girl in the school likes seeing his flawless face when we walks by." I sigh and smile at the same time.

Riley rose an eyebrow. "Maya, why are you acting crush crazy?"

I stop smiling. "Me crush crazy? No way. I'm fine, really."

Riley gasps. "You have a crush on a boy, right?"

I had no words. So I sat there, worried that she might find out about me and Lucas.

"You do! OMG! Who is the lucky guy?" Riley asked.

Great. Now I have to say someone else instead of Lucas.

But I can't say.

"Can we talk about this later. I'm not in the mood." I said.

Riley looks at me, curious. "What's wrong?"

I sighed. "Today, a lot of things went down today. Even last week."

"What happened last week?"

But I couldn't keep it no more.

I have to tell her.

"Something happened between me and Lucas."

Riley widened her eyes and her jaw dropped. "What exactly did you two did?"

I closed my eyes. I didn't want her see her expression.

"Lucas and I kissed."

Riley got up. And she got upset.

"You two kissed? On the lips?"

"Right after you left for your club."

"Maya, how could you do this to me like that? Best friends don't ruin another best friend's relationship."

I got up also. "And there's something I wanted to say. Me and Lucas both shared our feelings about each other. And he liked me too. He started to like me after that kiss."

Riley walks to her dresser and throws her jewelry box on the floor while being upset. Yikes, this was not the Riley I loved. She will never do something like that.

"FIRST, YOU KISS LUCAS, THEN, YOU LIKE HIM? BEHIND MY BACK?" Riley yelled.

I apologize. "Look, Riley, I'm sorry."

"It's like you didn't want me with Lucas, so you decided take it away from me."

"That's it!" She screams. "Get out!"

I grab my stuff and head to the bay window. "Fine. See you tomorrow, Riley."

"Whatever." She screams again and she shuts the bay window real tight.

This scene looks like it should be on Gone Too Far. Oh well.
