Our whole crew were outside the school, and the bell hasn't rung yet. But we just had math so we had math homework.

"When is English class gonna start?" Farkle asked. "I can't wait to learn something good."

"In about 5 or 10 minutes." Lucas replied.

Riley turned around to me. "So, Maya, what are you gonna do your report on?"

"I don't know yet." I answered. "What about you?"

"I'm gonna do a report on about why unicorns are awesome!" Riley giggles. And I giggled too.

"Unicorns? They aren't real." I said.

"They are to me. Not because I kept drawing them in my notebook." Riley replied, being all weirdly, and pretending not to do that.

"I seen your unicorns. Very magical." I playfully called out.

Then we both chuckle.

We stopped chuckling when Lucas walked a little closer to us.

"Hey, guys. What are you laughing about?" He asked.

"My book report theme." Riley answers. "Why Unicorns Should Be Real." Riley walked beside Farkle and talked to him a little.

Lucas smiles. "That's cute." Then he turned to me.

"Hey, Sundance." I named one of his nicknames. It's kinda my thing.

Calling your friend (boy) nicknames mean you like them.

Could that be true?

"Hi, Maya." Lucas greets.

"I guess next period, we'll be lab buds. Cause after English, it's science." Me, being a know-it-all.

"I see that. When we get to the experimenting part, don't make a mess like 2 weeks ago." He says.

"You didn't notice nor told me to do it. You were writing Riley's name all over your journal."

He was falling madly in love with her.

They get together everyday.

They think about each other every hour, minute, even a whole day.

"What? Are you saying that me with Riley is bothering you so much?"

Yes... very much.

"No. I'm fine with it. I mean, I'm the only person in this group that doesn't have a soulmate." I continued. "Farkle has Lauren, and you have Riley."

"Jealous much?"

"A little bit, yeah."

Then finally, the bell rang.

"Farkle, Riley, let's go to English." I shouted.

"Okay." They both say.

Me and Lucas were meant to be.

We were meant to be.

Thanks for reading. That was the quote from the front cover! Besides, if you want to see more of this, save this in your library.

Okay... bye!
