Chapter 27.

[two years ago]

"I choose-" I say before my cell goes off, I take it out of my pocket and check the caller I.D, 'Jacob' it reads on the screen, "One moment please" I say to them and answer, "Yes Jake?" I ask, "Are you with Kristopher?" he asks, "Why?"  I reply, "Doesnt he want to say goodbye to his daughter?" he says, "Its not his daughter, its Zacs" I say, "Well does he want to see her?" he asks, "Look Jake I'll call you back later, I got to go" I say and hang up, all three eyes staring at me.

"Kristopher, you never loved me, you may have acted like you did at somepoint, but your actions have pointed out you dont. So, in conclusions, I pick Zachary" I say, Kristopher looks at me angry and Zac comes and kisses me and hugs me. "Wise choice Miss Crimson" their mother says, "I know right?" Zachary says.

"Zac, you want to see Faith before the guys take off?" I ask, "Sure" he says and we get into the car to go home.

[Present]

"Unkie Zac!" Faith screams and runs up to Zac and gives him a hug, "Faith! How big you are!" he says happily, Faith is now 2 years old, she has my black hair and Zacs blue eyes, her hair is cut with bangs that hang just over her eyes and she has the biggest smile, one of her front teeth are missing, she must have been visited by the tooth fairy. She wears a baby blue dress, she wore it because she was a flower girl at the wedding today. Dont worry, it wasnt mine, it was her dads, Jake and Matts, wedding.

"You say that every time Unkie Zac" she says giggling. "Hey Faith, hows my little neice?" I ask, "Aunt Lainey! I'm great! The tooth fairy visited me last night and gave me 3 dollars!" she exclaims holding up four fingers, "Thats awesome Faith!" I say, smiling at how much she has grown. Matt walks up with Jake in tow, "Look at happy couple, seems like just yesterday we had started the band and you two were dating girls!" I say, they laugh, "Well time goes by faster than you think Lainey. Have you heard from Deverish lately?" Matt replies, "Deverish was in Kentucky on tour last time I heard from him, he say to tell you two congrats and say sorry that he couldnt make it" I say to them. Deverish was now in the band Kristophers Revenge, that had now made it big time and was going to tour with Crimson forever this summer.

"We really should get together before the tour and have a night out like we used to" Jake says, smiling thinking about the time we all went out and got drunk and ended up waking up in the park with no memories of what had happened. "We should" I say, "Lainey I'm going to grab something from the car, I'll be back in a few minutes" Zac says and kisses my cheek and walks to the car.

"So Lainey, how are you and Zac?" Matt asks, "We are good, this actually is the longest relationship I've ever had, if not at least longer than ours" I say with a laugh, he laughs to, "Well at least your together and he didnt turn out to be a cheating jerk like everyone else" he says. "True that" I say, I check my phone, there is a text from Deverish,

Lains, say hi to the twins and Faith for me and give them all a big hug and a congrats

I show the texts to the twins and they laugh, "It really is weird how everyone still calls us the twins, even though we arent and we are now married" they say. "True" I say, "But the twins are the twins forever" I say. "Lainey" Zac says from behind me, "Yes?" I say and turn around and he's on one knee with a ring in his hand, "Lainey Crimson, I have loved you for a long time, we have had a daughter together and have been through very hard times, and now, I ask you this, Will you marry me?" he says and I start crying and manage to nodd and say yes. He slides the ring on my finger and kisses me.

"What do you mean daughter Unkie Zac?" Faith  says, "Nothing Faith" he says and smiles at me, did I mention Faith didnt know we were her parents? "Well we should get going" Zac says to the twins, "K talk to you guys soon" they reply and we head off.
