A Rockstar In The Making

Chapter 9.

Recap:

Deverish pauses the movie when the door bell rings and I get up to answer it.

No. Flippin. Way.

Chapter 9.

The big oak door reveals Lucy Morgan, my arch nemisis. "Whats do you want" I ask in a tired voice, "I want to tell Deverish that his girl is sleeping with my boyfriend and if she doesnt quit shes going to loose one of her fake hair extensions" she says and leaves. I close the door and turn to a teary eyed Deverish, who shakely takes out his HTC phone and types away at the touchscreen to pull up the contact list.

[Deverish's Point Of View]

I type at the screen and pull up my contact list, tears threatening to fall. Why did she cheat on me? Why?! I scroll down the list and find her name and hit the call button, I rings for a few seconds and she answers:

Kristen: Hey baby

Me: Cut with the crap Kristen, I know you've been cheating on me with Thomas

Kristen: And what gave you that idea?

Me: Thomas's girlfriend. She had proof to.

Kristen: Oh well. Is that all?

Me: We. Are. Over. I dont want to ever hear from you or see you again. You disgust me.

I hang up on her and the tears I've been holding back start pouring out. Lainey hugs me and I push her away, "I just want to be alone right now" I say in a small, crackly voice. I walk out the door and get into my car. I tear off down the street and head down the interstate, driving randomly. I see two bright lights heading straight for me, before I knew it I heard screaching and the sound of crashing medal. Then I felt, nothing.

[Laineys point of view[

Brrrriiiiing. Brrrriiiiiing.

I answer the phone,

Me:Hello

Unknown caller:Is this miss Lainey Crimson speaking?

Me: This is she

Unknown caller: Ms Crimson, Deverish Kucks was just brought into the hospital, his car was hit on the interstate by a drunk driver, can you please report to the hospital?

Me: I'll be right there.

I rush out side into my Escalade and break the speed limit, heading to the hospital as fast as I can. I park right in front and rush inside to the front desk, "Which room is Mr. Deverish Kucks in?" I demand, "He's in the ICU, his doctor will be out to talk to you momentarily" the nurse says and goes back to a phone call.
