~Jake~
We were sat quietly against the large wall. I stared at my wall. 4:40 am.
"This is so illegal." I said
"How the fuck did you talk me into this."
Ash shrugged beside me. He was shockingly calm for being inside a place where he was wanted for many crimes.
I tunnelled under the wall in a part where no one could steal. Ash did the same. I crouched behind a bush watching him. Suddenly a guard came and pulled him off of the ground. He hit ash so hard he fell to the ground. My heart sank. Although it felt like it was melting I heard it banging in my ears. The guard pulled a gun on him. I wanted to scream or help but I was frozen. Then suddenly ash sprig up and cut his throat. The man stumbled falling down. Ash ran over wiping the blade on his jeans. My mouth was open in horror.
"You fucking killed him." I said feeling like I was gonna throw up.
"That was the same bastard that took my brother. I saw his badge. As long as they don't know I'm here it will look like someone else did it because if no one knows we are here no one will think it's us." I looked over at him. His voice was faint and his eyes watered.
"Are you-"
No." He cut me off wiping his eyes. Let's go find the others. I stumbled song the grass feeling queasy.
And then there we were.
"Oh god" Molly said quickly.
Myself and ash repeatedly asked what was wrong then I noticed Jade was gonna.
"Shit shit shit." Ash said.
"What's we do." I said panicking.
"Shit shit shit." He said again. But louder this time.
"Shit the fuck up." I snapped shaking.
"Split up and look. If it gets to 5:10 am we all come back here."
We nodded. Without any further discussion we all ran off. About thirty minutes later I saw a guard walk buy talking into his radio.
"Yeah someone said he was in the grounds. Ash! I know right the one we've wanted. I found Ol dead. He was an asshole and deserved it but I bet it was Ash. You know what murderers get." He laughed. I couldn't hear anymore. I ran to look for ash. People spoke about how apparently if you killed you got something worse than death.
Then I froze like a deer in head lights. A guard stood facing me. My hood made it hard to see who I was. I sprinted to the wall and climbed it hurriedly. Luckily this soldier was pretty slow and never caught up. I heard him yelling about a trespasser but then he gave up and walked away. No other guards came. I hid in a bush panicking. I prepared myself for feeling a bullet hit me. Or a person grab me. But neither of those came. I went back and looked for the hole is made. I found it. I lay in it looking for ash. I wasn't in but I could see. The dead man was gone. Then I saw ash. He stared at me. His eyes were so bright they seemed to glow. I stared back. Then he fell down. I flinched at the sound of a gunshot. I forced myself to open my eyes again and not run. Two guards pulled him up. His leg bled heavily where the bullet had hit. He kicked and screamed.
"You fuckers let me go. You killed them you had this coming."
"No you had this coming." A guard laughed. They dragged him away.
I eventually forced myself to move I dragged myself under the fence taking a big risk and telling.
"WAIT." But the ignored me.
I fell to my knees and started to weep.
Who had done this?
I was so mad. Almost as mad as when Lily's mom died. Who needed to die?
