(sorry I didn't post yesterday! it's a holiday weekend, thanksgiving, in Canada right now so I've been busy with family. which is also the reason this chapter is going to be shorter than the others. I'm writing chapter seven right now though, and it'll be a lot longer! I'll upload it tonight.)

chapter five recap:

"the clouds. it's been dark here for the last three days. that's my favorite part of England. it's always melancholy. it brings me at peace. it matches how I really feel." she said.
I liked that she said exactly what she was thinking, it's not a common thing for the girls in my life to be so straightforward.
I looked at her. she looked at me. and before I knew it, she placed her lips on mine.

Chapter six:
Reilly's POV
I pulled away from Caspar. I don't know what came over me. I sat up.
"I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me, i-" I started, but he cut me off.
"it's okay, reilly. I don't want you to regret it. it's honestly okay."
I could tell by his eyes that he meant it.
I pulled my feet out of the water and shook them dry.
"perhaps we should go." i suggested.
Caspar nodded.
-------
when we arrived back at the, it was empty.
Caspar and I watched some films as the sun fell and stars filled the sky. Joe came stumbling in the door with a bang.
I jumped up and ran to him.
"Sorry cuz, took a short trip to the pub." Joe
said, laughing loudly he fell to the floor.
i frowned. I grabbed his arm and used all of my energy to pull him up. he had been under so much stress with me coming down, and his dad being ill.
I guess it was a matter of time before he cracked.
"you've made a mess of yourself, Joe." cas said, grabbing his other arm. we lead him downstairs to his flat.
"I'm going to go get some water and bread." cas said, exiting the room.
"don't forget some Advil." i called after him.
Joe began laughing.
"what?" i asked, slightly amused.
"I've got something I want to tell you, reilly."
he said
"and what's that?" i pressed.
"Caspy...." Joe began.
"Joe, stop. you're absolutely plastered."
Joe drunkenly placed his finger on my lips to silence me. I rolled my eyes.
"Caspy fancies you, reilly." Joe said, before passing out.
I heard a glass drop behind me.
