"Tyler what the hell are you doing here?" asked a voice, he sounded mad. I'm asleep right now...but I'm hearing voices...I'm sure it's my just imagination.

"I'm here to protect her" he hissed back.

"What the hell do you think I'm doing? That's my job, not yours" hissed the voice. Okay I know I'm not imagining this. I slightly opened my eyes to see who it was...Hayden...I quickly shut my eyes again pretending to be asleep.

"What are you talking about...I'm protecting her from people like you. How can you protect her from yourself?" he hissed back.

"We're not like the others Tyler, we aren't the bad guys here" Hayden hissed, you could hear the anger rising in his voice.

"Really, how the hell am I supposed to believe you?”Tyler snorted, sounding disgusted.

"Nobody said you had to, I'm telling you...we are NOT the bad guys" he said angrily ...what are they talking about?

"Okay, I guess I can believe you, but if I even hear about you trying to turn her...I'm coming after you Hayden" You know what I just noticed...they know each other's names... How do they know each other?

"Why would I turn her?" he sounded beyond pissed now. Turn me....what did they me...turn me? Into what?

"She kissed you am I right...meaning, now you probably have feelings for her. Therefore, if you even think about laying a hand on my best friend, I will hurt you Hayden" he hissed. I tried to stay as still as possible, I've never seen...well heard of Tyler being like this.

Hayden snorted, "Do I sense a bit of jealously?...You like her don't you? Ha...listen, right now I have no interest...she likes my brother, and I'm sure she fucked him yesterday...so we're both out of luck here Tyler."

Tyler tensed up. "She wouldn't...she told me yesterday all she did was kiss you...not fuck Aiden" he shuddered. I could tell he was pissed off.

"Listen, I'm just as heartbroken as you are. We've both been lied to, but that doesn't matter right now...The real problem is protecting her. As much as it pains me to say it...we have to work together on this. You have her trust...We have the strength," his voice was calm now.

Tyler sighed, "....Alright, only because she's my best friend...if it wasn't for her actually liking you all, I wouldn't do it. Now convincing Shayla and Keela...that's a different story."

"Did you say Keela...as in Carson's girlfriend Keela?" Hayden asked.

"Yeaa, you kno...oh wait...please don't tell me he's one of you," Tyler sounded horrified.

"Wait....so that is her. Listen, Carson is a good guy. His brother Austin...he's the bad guy. Don't trust him..."

"What's wrong with him?" asked Tyler.

"He and his crew...they found out about Nyla. They're after her," Hayden said in a hushed voice. Wait so Austin is after me. His words suddenly came back to my mind.
