Chapter 51:The Return

Chapter 51

I lay there...looking at him in shock. "You're what' I shrieked. I mean I can't be... Zane and I?!?! No that's just not...just...no!!

He sighed, "Do I really have to repeat it" he groaned.

 "No!! Please don't" I answered...too quickly. I couldn't handle hearing it again. "So what does this mean...we have to be together forever" I asked, shuddering at the possibility.

He looked at me, "Hey....I'm not that bad" he feigned hurt. I chuckled, smiling when I remembered he said the exact same thing in my dream. I looked back up at him...and blushed.

"What" I asked, looking down as he studied my face. He stood up, and ushered for me to follow him. I stood up, and jumped on his back. 

He stumbled forward a bit, "Damn you're heavy" I gasped and hit him. He chuckled, "I'm joking" he said standing up straight, he began to walk, and before I knew it...he was jumping off a balcony.

We walked up to a familiar house. My face reddened as I looked around the woods, remembering what happened between us in my dreams. "Brings back good memories huh?" I could tell he was smirking.

 I blushed, "Whatever" I said rolling my eyes. We walked up the stairs, and he placed me down beside him. He knocked on the door, and almost instantly it swung open.

 "Nyla!! Zane!! You're here...I've been waiting for you two to come by since the visions" Lana smiled at me. I never really knew why she was so hidden in the woods...well it kind of fit her badass reputation.

"You remember me?" I questioned, coming back into reality.

"Yeah...from my visions...now come in" she pulled us into the house. "So....I'm guessing you're here to remove the bond" she asked as we walked into her living room. She sat down on the white suede couch.

I glanced at Zane, "That's why I'm here" I questioned.

"That's what you were trying to do in your dream...plus, if you wanted to be changed..." I cut him off, embracing him in a hug. I felt him tensed up a bit, but I didn't care. I continued to hold him.

I pulled back smiling, "So you'll do it" I asked, sounding hopeful.

"In due time....but I think I will. We have to get the bond off, so you don't die in five days" he said as we sat down on the couch across from Lana.

"So Nyla...are you ready" Lana asked. I looked towards her and nodded. She walked over to me, and placed her hand on the tattoo, "The only way I can unbond you, is if I take the bond...I could pass the bond to someone else, or I could keep it, and try to defeat Axel, to rid of the five day curse" she explained as a substance started to inch up her arm. I could see the tattoo disappearing from my arm. As the last inch of ink started to disappear, a feeling came over me. I screamed in pain. It felt like someone was slicing through my arm. Lana mimicked me, screaming out in pain, as it slowly inched on her arm. The pain intensified, and then  disappear as it made it fully to her arm.

Tears ran down her face, but she quickly wiped them away, "All done" she said smiling.

 "Are you sure you'll be okay Lana" I asked

"Of course" she sent me a reassuring smile, then looked at Zane. "I suggest you change her today....she already knows how to control everything..." she said sternly.

Zane shook his head, and got off the couch, "Not toda..." he was cut off.

 "Zane, Axel is after her, and I know he is...if you don't turn her, he will...and she'll be in the Silvieter coven" she retorted. Zane looked hesitant. She glared at him, and for a moment they stood there, challenging each other with their glares.
