Chapter 3: He's back

Everyone was looking at me.
They didn't know i could do that.
They all went back to what they were doing before. Well everyone except Shane because the noise had stopped. "where is she? is she okay? did she come back with you?" she asked looking behind him. "yea, yea. yes! they're okay. everyone's okay.... well everyone but Merle" he stated. Merle died? Hmm what happened? "is he dead?" i asked. I didn't care if he was or not but i had to be prepared for Daryl's rage. he looked down at me "i don't know, you'll have to ask the new guy" he explained. A big white van pulled up and everyone jumped out. There were still two people left inside the van but neither of them were Merle. There were two new people? Me and Carl both looked around for his dad but didn't see him. Lori pulled both of us aside and started talking to us. "i know you both wanted to see him, and i know you're both very upset but he's probably not gonna come back" she explained. I was hugging Carl from the side as he started to cry but pulled away. "i'll leave you two to talk about it" i said and turned to see none other than the sheriff himself. everybody.
I couldn't take my eyes off him and grabbed Carl's arm.
He ran to him "DAD!"he yelled with tears in his eyes.
Lori cried "rick!" she yelled and ran to him with me following right beside her. We all hugged and were crying. i opened my tear filled eyes and gasped. There was the other new guy. I pulled slowly away from rick and put my hands over my mouth. Tears ran down my face as i broke down. "Rebecca" he breathed and started towards me. I backed away still angry. A part of me wanted to hug him and never let go but the other part wanted nothing to do with him. My stood right before me. The only people who knew what was going on was Carl, Lori and Rick. Everyone else was confused. Amy piped up "who are you?" she asked. he looked at her and smiled "i'm Alec" he sighed "i'm her dad". i heard the gasps of the group and i was filled with anger. i scoffed "you are not my dad" i said "my dad is standing right there" i pointed to rick. I could tell my dad wanted to yell by the look on his face. "who? officer friendly?" he asked "you don't even this jackass!" he yelled.
I gave a sick laugh "he was there for me when you left. you left us! you left and never came back!" i yelled. He sighed in frustration. He knew i was right, but he didn't want to admit it. He stormed off as i was still crying. I never called rick my dad but he was more of a father than my actual one. Shane put a hand on my shoulder "come on Rebecca-" i stopped him. "only Alec called me Rebecca" i stated. i walked over to rick and hugged him again. I pulled away "where's Merle?" i asked.
Rick sighed "he was a danger to the group so i handcuffed him to the roof. it's my fault-" he was cut off by T-dog.
"it's not your fault, i dropped the key down the drain" he stated.
"so he's okay?" i asked.
"yea. i locked the door up real tight" he reassured.
"Daryl's not gonna be happy" dale explained.
"where's Daryl?" he asked
"he went on a hunting trip a couple days ago. should be back today or tomorrow" i answered.
"we'll finish the conversation when he comes back"he declared. I went over to Glenn as rick spent time with his family. I'm glad rick was back. My dad, not so much.

how'd you like this chapter? Rae's dad is back. FYI he left when she was six years old. i don't know if i mentioned when he left in the first chapter but yea. are you ready for the next chapter? the big death scene is coming up and you guys know what that mean? blood and guts and Amy, wait what? i didn't say that. lol Luvs thx for reading and the support. love feedback.
