i realize two things from staying here....

one ...

never trust anyone around you and two ....

don't get too close.

after the elevator fiasco everything went to hell from there.

the elevator was cooler than normal but probably from the weather. we got snowed in so we couldn't leave this week. while everyone stayed in the lobby and complained, i hopped on the elevator to clear my mind. everything since the last elevator ride has been a haze. every night i wake in luke's embrace as he holds me as i sob. he never asks so i never tell. he just holds me and waits till i'm asleep to leave.

i've followed him once.

just once and it nearly got me killed.

he had been walking down a hallway i didn't know existed and made a few turns i didn't get so when i went the wrong way i got cornered. four clowns. one of me. i knew they were going to rip me to shreds.

but luke had come to save the day right before the first axe was buried in my back. he took me back to my room and tried to convince me it was just a dream and in the morning when i awoke i was back in bed but with my shirt ripped and my leggings torn on the ankles.

the next time i followed him i made sure to follow him exactly and not get lost. he went to an empty room, well i thought it was till i saw bodies scattered everywhere.

he cleaned up the room as i watched and then looked up and asked if i had been there for a while but he obviously knew better. his eyes changed and the next thing i knew, i was back in bed but my neck was sore.

the last time i followed him.... everything changed.

i grabbed the pocket knife my mother made me bring and i followed him to the lobby but stayed by the stairs for a bit. he vanished into thin air and when i turned around i saw a random creature whom i screeched at the sight. they were covered in blood but every now and then would flicker between my bestfriends features to the ugly monster it was.

by the end of the night...

my friends were dead.

and so was i.

i'm soooo bad at updating but school started and i'm finally learning to juggle everything so hopefully i can finish this book finally !!! also i'm so sorry this is short but i wanted it to just be spOOKY BECAUSE HALLOWEEN !!!
