Chapter 2:
I have to say this is the most awkward brunch I ever been to.
I sat there glaring at Lucas, who was, unfortunately, sitting in front of me, while Liam just sat there gaping and probably processing the fact that he was going to live with an egotistical jerk for a couple months and that egotistical jerk is smirking at both of us. Needless to say, it was awkward for both of their parents and for us.
Francine cleared her throat to try and cut the tension. "So why were you late, Lucas?" she asked her son, sternly.
"Oh," he smirked,"Just some jerk and his girlfriend crashed my car." he said.
"Oh really?" I asked in mock shock,"Was it them who crashed into your car or the other way around?" With the looks their parents gave us they knew that an argument was brewing but decided the keep quiet. For the meantime.
"I'm pretty sure that's what happened. You wouldn't know would you? I mean, you wouldn't, coincidentally been there."
"Have you three met?" Mr. Kells or Paul asked.
"No!" Liam and I yelled simultaneously. Lucas smirked at both of us, which he seemed to have been doing since he got here. I wanted to reach out and wipe that stupid smirk out of his face but instead I settled with a menacing glare.
"Okay?" Paul asked, unsure.
"Let's toast, dear. To our new friends." his wife smiled breaking the awkward tension with a warm smile and her friendly aura as she raised her glass.
I continued to glare at Lucas as we raised our glasses together. Throughout all the glaring, I haven't realize that my grip on the glass became tighter and tighter by the second until it broke in my hand, leaving scratches and glass on it.
The red blood started oozing out of my palm as I heard a shrilling scream from my left before I passed out on the floor.

Beeping noises.
'Shut up' I thought as the beeping continued and echoed throughout the room.
As the beeping continued, my patience grew smaller, and before I knew it I was reaching towards the nightstand. Okay, there's nothing there.
I opened my eyes to check the surrondings and immedietely regretted it as the blinding light shone down my eyes. I adjusted to the light as I blinked several times and saw that I was in unfamiliar surrondings.
The walls were a dull white and so were the ceiling, even the window had white blinds. the floor was tiled and a sickly smell was coming from all parts of the room and on my palm was wrapped iin a white gauze with blood slightly staining it. I suddenly felt lightheaded and dizzy as I saw the blood once again.
"You drool in your sleep." a voice said.
"What?" I looked around as I saw Lucas standing in the doorway.
"You drool in your sleep." he confirmed as I tried to wipe dry drool off my face, earning a deep chuckle from him that sent shivers up my spine.
"Where are the others?" I asked trying to lead the subject away from my drool.
"In the cafeteria. They went to get something to eat."
"Then why are you here, not Liam?"
"You looking for your boyfriend, baby girl?" he smirked.
"First of all, he's not my boyfriend. Second, I'm not your baby girl or whatsoever, your just the jerk staying at my best friend's house for two months and Lastly, try to be civilized. For Mr and Mrs Kells' sake."
