What did you say?
I can't hear you.
Everything is so quiet,
Your voice just doesn't get through.
I want to hear the sounds you say,
I want to hear your voice.
Music, laughter, tears and more,
But I can't reach out to the noise.
What I have is depressing,
What I wish for is peace,
But comfort and happiness
Are not within my reach.
What did you say?
Everything feels so loud,
I can't pick your voice out
From among the crowd.
If only the noises could reach my ears,
You'll never understand how bad it feels not to hear.
