Sometimes I feel like I am forgettable.
Sitting in my chair, in the back of the room,
I hope sometimes not to be noticed;
And in the crowds, I let myself be consumed.
I have been told that I'm unforgettable,
My own person, special, unique,
I think that if I was like everyone else,
I wouldn't feel quite as helpless or weak.
Sometimes I feel like I am forgettable,
Sitting by myself, not noticed by the rest.
I wish sometimes that I was visible,
That I could be better - or maybe the best.
