One Fateful Day

A/N: I got a request from JaclynDanielle3, I how I did You justice. You and the  turtles are about 4-5 years.

(Mikey's pov)

"I am sooooooooooo boredddddddddddddahhhhhhhh!!!!" I whined. I was hanging upside down on the couch, staring at the wall and feeling the blood rush to my head. That's when I got a great idea.

"Hey guys! Wanna go play in the sewers?"

"That's not a bad idea Mikey." Donnie said as he wakes in from his lab. I turn to look at Raph, who was looking through his comic book, and he shrugged.

"Why not, ain't like we got anything betta to do." He got up, walked over to me, and sat down next to me.

"No. We're gonna get in trouble if we don't ask permission to leave." Leo says as he walks out of the dojo.

"Pllllllllleeeeease Leo.  We won't go too far away. Come on, let's go and play!" I whined. He always gives in after a little bit of whining and pouting. All my brothers do. How can they resist my adorable face?

"We ask permission."

"Leeeeeeeooooooo"

"Permission"

"But he's going to say nooooo!"

"Then forget about going into the sewers." We were too busy with our little fight to realize Donnie went to Master Splinter's room.

"He said it's fine as along as we stay close enough where we can find our way home." Donnie interjected.

"YYEEEESSSS!!" I yelled.
"THANK YOU MASTER SPLINTER!!!!!!"

"You are welcome my son. Do not go to far from the lair." Splinter says from the next room.

"Come on guys! Let's go!" I ran out the entrance to the lair as fast as I could. "Try to catch me!"

"Mikey!!!" All three of my brothers yelled as they chased after me.

We played tag for what felt like two hours, so we decided to play hide and seek, and I was it. I kept running through the sewer tunnels until I heard something, or someone, move. I wanted to call out for my brothers, but what if what ever was in here with me...wants to hurt me? That's when I did something, that even I knew is pretty stupid.

"Hello? Who's there?"

"P-p-please. D-don't hurt me." I heard a girl's voice answer.

"I-I won't. Please, come out. I promise I won't hurt you."

"...promise?"

"Cross my heart." After a few seconds, I heard footsteps coming towards me.  After a few more, I saw really pretty ocean blue eyes...or are they sapphire? I don't know, all I know is they look just like Leo's. Her's seem a lot more shy than Leo's though.

"Y-you're a turtle." She said timidly.

"Yeah, but I promise I won't hurt you." The girl comes out of the shadows. She has really pretty brown hair. She looks like she's around my age.

"I'm Mikey, what's you're name?"

"M-my name is Jaclyn."

"Are you scared of me, Jaclyn?"

"N-not really. I-I don't normally talk to people."

"Oh...wanna be my friend?" I asked happily.

"...ok" she said in a very small voice.

"You wanna come meet my brothers and dad?"

"...ok" I took her hand and lead her because to the lair where everyone was in the living room looking scared out of their minds. They turn to me as I walked in,  Jaclyn was hiding behind me.

"Mikey!"

"Michelangelo, where have you been?" Splinter scolds. I shrink a bit into myself.

"I made a friend, and I wanted you to meet her." Jaclyn poked her head over my shoulder.

"Father, he brought a human!" Leo exclaimed.

"I see that Leonardo. What is your name young lady?"

"J-Jaclyn"

"Jaclyn, I will allow you to befriend my sons as long as you do not tell anyone that we exist, not even your mother and father until they are ready."

"Y-Yes Sir." She had her hand was on the back of my shell, I could feel her shaking. Raph saw how nervous she was and probably thought it would help to have less people around, because he walked passed us, grabbed his comic book, and started reading it. He looked up for a sec.

"Name's Raph by the way."

"Um...hi" Jaclyn slightly mumbled. Leo came up to us, introduced himself, and then when to the dojo. Donnie was almost as shy as Jaclyn when he introduced himself.  Afterwards he ran from the room saying something about fixing the toaster.

"Mikey?"

"Yeah Jaclyn?" I turned to look at her and she had an adorably small smile on her face. 

"I think I like it here."

"That's great! Wanna play some video games with me? You can pick the game."

"Sure." We ran over to the tv and had a lot of fun playing together. That was the day, I met my best friend.
