||I lost myself, when I lost you.||

The space between them felt grand, larger than life itself, and the closer she got to him, the weaker her legs felt. The improbable feeling of excitement was glorious, and as the inches between them closed in, she felt her eyes glass over with fresh tears. he was right there, close enough to touch and close enough to breath in. Wanda had been waiting months for this moment.

She jumped up, wrapping her legs around his waist and hugging him as if her life depended on it.

Her tears turned into sobs, filling the quiet room almost instantly. She felt his arms hug her back, and he dug his face into her neck and joined her with warm tears. Her face began to hurt as her smile grew, but she didn't care, not at the moment. All she did care about was Pietro, in the flesh, giving her the tightest hug.

Wanda didn't want to let go of Pietro, and he didn't give any intention of releasing her either, but after a few minutes of holding each other, she untangled herself from his embrace. She found her footing and tried her best not to fall down. She knew Pietro sensed her frigidness, because he held her shoulders down and waited for her to get situated.

"Wanda," he breathed out, holding her face in his palms, and she searched his eyes for the Pietro she knew so well, the one who grew up by her side, the one who would do anything for her. And as she stared into his light and exhausted eyes, she found him.

But it wasn't until he spoke that she finally realized that he was actually there. Her brother, her twin, the one who they have been trying so hard to keep away from her was actually in front of her.

"Wait," she said, stepping away from his touch. "You can't be here," she added, running over to the other side of the room and turning away from her brother. She forced her mind to think of something, something other than her brother.

"Bruce, what are you doing?" Steve asked, making his way over to Wanda, but Pietro beat him to it, grabbing his sister again and hugging her.

"Short answer?" Bruce asked, and Wanda looked over at Steve, who nodded. "They're safe." She breathed out, letting her face rest against her brother's chest as she wrapper her arms around him once more.

Their voices drifted off into the background, and all Wanda could hear was her brother's heartbeat beating against her ear.

"I love you," he whispered to her, and she cried silent tears against him, feeling his shirt dampen beneath her cheek.

"Trask hasn't left the bunkers in over two days, and it's beginning to concern Thor," Natasha said, dropping her bag near the door and shaking off her jacket. The team looked up at her, and she held back her smile, walking over to Bruce. She grabbed his hand and held it, pushing away the thoughts of Bucky. "He called me on the drive. He says we should keep an eye out for anything odd."

"Where have you been?" Steve asked, crossing his arms. She glared at him, but gave off a gleeful sigh.

"Out," she answered.

"All right, all right. We'll if Trask has been cooped up in his bunker all of this time, then that probably means he found something," Clint stated.

"He hasn't," Tony said, scrolling through his phone. "He's been trying to get in touch with me. He wants to me to give him a new version of his father's blueprints. One's that'll explain how to control the robots."

"You haven't called him back?" Bruce asked. "Won't he get suspicious?"

"I'm sure he already is, but he knows I'm busy. I mean, I am Iron Man."
