BEEEEEEEEP!!!!

There was a sudden flash of pain and all went dark.

The Next Day

I hear a ringing noise in my ears and my eyes open slowly, but I squint for a second as they adjust to the bright lighting around the room.
I remember running towards the bus station and then...nothing

When my eyes open widely, I turn my head to the side and see my mom sitting slouched over in a large chair. Her head was resting on the palm of her hand and her eyes were closed.

"Mom"

I say almost in a whisper and her eyes open in a flash. She looks up at me and smiles. Her face was blurry, but once it comes into view, I could see she had been crying. The whites of her eyes were almost red from exhaustion and her hair was tied up in a messy bun.

"You're safe now."

My mother says softly and she stands up. She was dressed in leggings and an oversized, grey sweatshirt. She slowly walked over to me and sat down on the side of the bed.

"Everything's going to be okay, get some rest."

She says and I nod my head slightly. She leans in close and kisses my forehead and my eyes slowly close.

2 Hours Later

I wake up to see Maria, Rebecca and Emma sitting at the end of the bed, In front of the tv. They looked hypnotized or something.
I sit up quietly, trying not to disturb them, when suddenly I stare at the screen when I hear my name.

"This is Amy Jackson, reporting that a local, teenage girl, by the name of Catherine Vanderbilt, who was kidnapped for almost 2 months, by an unknown gang. She has recently been found,"

The lady continued talking, but Rebecca turns the tv off with the remote in her hands. Then they turned around and shifted closer to me.

"What happened that night?"

Emma asks in a shaky and concerned tone

"I don't quite remember"

Suddenly it comes back to me in waves.

"Wait...I remember leaving the bar a-and stumbling outside to get a break from the noise."

I describe slowly. The girls stare at me to continue

"I saw a path in the woods and followed it till I came to a cabin...It's windows were smashed and the walls were covered with vines and I remember the wind pushing me towards it. I went inside a-and he was there."

My voice fades away and I could feel myself falling apart from the inside out. I can't help but let a tear escape my eyes.
I was so drunk that night; how could I have been so stupid to have went into the middle of the woods by myself?!

"Then what happened?"

Rebecca asks shyly

"There was a boy...Harry a-and he brought me to this small house farther into the woods. There were 6 of them."

"Did they hurt you?"

Emma asks

"They-"

I begin to answer, but the door suddenly opens and the nurse walks in, holding a handful of clean clothes.

"The doctor has confirmed your release in the morning."

She announces

"Come on girls, she needs her rest."

She says and my friends look at me one last time. They stand up and begin walking crookedly out of the room and the door closes.

The night was long and lonely, It reminded me of something, but I couldn't place what it was.

In the morning, my father came to pick me up and we weren't even able to walk out of the main entrance because of reporters. The ride home was quite long and it didn't feel comfortable to call home my home.

My father opened the front door for me and suddenly, my dog (a Dalmatian) named Augustus jumps on me and winned uncontrollably. I had forgotten how much I had missed him. I pet him and wrapped my arms around him as he licked my face.
