Chapter 6

-Danny-

I was still away. I’d received message after message from the guys telling me what I’m doing is wrong. Well yeah I know it is but lately everyone is saying that I’ve ‘gone soft’ and that I’m not the same Danny I was before I met the girls. My phone buzzed again. I assumed it would be Doug or Tom. I got my iphone out of my pocket and checked it.

Message from ALEX: DUDE! IM AWAKE AND I’M ANGRY!!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL THINK OF LAURA LYING IN THAT COMA!!!!!

I read it a few times. I didn’t know what to do at all. Of course I love Laura but I mean I like Natalia too! She was in my hotel room. She came over and kissed my neck. I shut my phone off so she couldn’t see the messages and I turned round and kissed her. Eventually she told me she was going to her friends house now.  I replied to the message.

Message to ALEX: Are you ok? I’m sorry but I’m here, you’ve not changed that. Keep me informed?

She replied immediately

Message from ALEX: You sicko! You want to be informed fine, we were told today she might never wake up! I hope you feel good.

I threw my phone off the wall and watched it smash. The tears that were laying in my eyes fell heavily. I cried for 2 hours straight, my breathing was hard. I waited half an hour before I packed my back and ran out of the hotel and dived in the car. It was 3 hours before I got to the hospital. I ran in and told the person at the office who I was and ran in the direction I was told.

I saw the boys and Alex. She had been released obviously. They were sat in the waiting room. Faces as cold as ice and then I saw Laura’s parents and brother walk out of her room. Her parents walked past me not knowing who I was. Did her brother know about me and Natalia? Yep. His face very quickly and very hard came into contact with my face. I felt it brusing straight away.

“ANTHONY?” I heard Laura’s mum yell.

“WHAT! HE IS AN IDIOT” He screamed.

“IM SORRY! I DIDN’T KNOW THIS WOULD HAPPEN AND THE ONLY REASON I DIDN’T COME BACK IS BECAUSE I DIDN’T WANT HER FINDING OUT AND HATING ME! IM SO SORRY! I LOVE HER SO MUCH! Forgive me?” I cried

“No.” He said simply

I looked down at my feet

“It’s not up to me to forgive you. It’s Laura” Anthony said “She’s awake”

I went straight in and told her everything.

“Laura, I’m so sorry. I love you so much” I finished

“I forgive you” Laura smiled

“What? Why?” I asked amazed

“Your eyes a red and puffy, you’ve been crying” She said.

I laughed and hugged her. She stroked my hair like a creepy little ginger sea monster.

“Danny? Where’s the others?” She asked me nicely. Once I’d told her she asked me to bring them in. Everyone was in the room and we spent the best part of the hour convincing them all to forgive me.

Finding out that my boyfriend had cheated on me was really hard. Tears were falling out of my looking holes none stop. I chose to forgive him because I could tell he was genuinely sorry.

It felt so weird being in a coma. You can hear everything that was being said and what was going on like my family being told that the best idea might be to turn off my life support machine. Mind you, I felt so bad. It was the worst pain of my life. It was like my head was exploding 24/7. I felt weak and I didn’t have the strength the wake up. When I did finally wake up I still felt really bad. I had cuts and bruises all over my face. I was paler than usual. I still had hardly any strength, just enough to hug Danny.
