Battle of the Captains

First day of school(continued)

After fourth period of our first day of school day,it's finally time for lunch. As usual me and the rest of the cheerleaders sit with the Football and Basketball teams. Today the school lunch special was a buffet style from Mac n' cheese to fried chicken ,surprisely it was actually really good.After everyone had finished their lunch we just sit there,talk,and laugh. As I was listening to Lauren(one of my best friends) talk about her summer fling,someone comes out behind me and tried to scare me.It was no other than Chase stinking Matthews,doesn't this guy understand that I hate his guts."Hello Juliana,my favorite cheerleader", he says with a smile,"What the heck do you want Chase,you almost scared my lunch out of me", I say annoyed.Suddenly,Chase whispers in my ear and says " Meet me at my locker in 5 minutes". Ugh, I would prefer to sit here and chit chat with my friends rather than talk to that fool,but I was curious so I ought to meet him.5 minutes later as he said he was standing out his locker waiting for me."Why did you summon me Mr. Matthews", I say trying to sound sophisticated,"I sort of need you to do me a favor ",he says with a nervous smile. As he talks to me I notice he glances at his phone,to which looks like a conversation with his girlfriend Brittany(some girl who highly hates my guts). "What would this favor consist of, because I don't sleep with people even if it'd for money",I say with an evil smile.I can tell he didn't find that joke funny,so this favor must be very serious. " So,um earlier during maybe first or second period,um my Brittany sort of broke up with me,but please don't laugh or I might have to kill you". Even though he told me not to laugh part of me wanted to burst out laughing, but I'm not that evil."So, I sort of need you to pretend to be my girlfriend, I know that you hate me in all,but I need to make her jealous so ai can win her back". I never though he would ask me this,so I sort of have to blink a couple times to make sure this isn't real,but sadly it is. "Of all the girls in this school-"I say confused,but it's like he was waiting me for me to say that because he cut me off."Because Brittany always thought that we were a perfect couple,and because she hates your guts",he says with a smirk . As I was about to ask him what was it in for me the bell rings for fifth period, of all of the moments for it to ring it just had to ring now.
