Seeing this old familiar scenery, made me want to be sick. I didn't want to be back home. I would have never left Pacific City. But we had to come back for graduation, which was the only silver lining to coming back. It was about 3 when we finally got back home. Everyone was dropped off and Carter was just now pulling up to my house.

"So are we still all going tomorrow night?" He asked, wrapping his arm around my waist.

"Yeah," I smiled, "It's a tradition." The student at our school started a tradition that someone would through a big party the night before the last day of school. Everyone would get drunk and go to school hungover. Don't ask me why someone started this tradition, but it's something every senior does. Most of the time, most of the kids are still drunk because the party sometimes doesn't end till 6. And the cool thing is, that only seniors are allowed to go, no underclassmen.

"Good," He leaned down and kissed me, "I'll see you at school tomorrow then. I can't wait to see Mrs. Robbins after school to tell her everything."

Carter got back in his van and drove away. My stomach turned as I walked back up the steps to my house. I opened the door to see Sara pouring herself a drink.

"Oh you're home," She said taking a swig, "Forgot you were even gone."

"Yeah, I'm just going to go up to my room and catch up on some homework."

"Can you do some chores first? Since you've been gone, everything's kinda cluttered up."

"Why don't you clean it. You're the one who made the mess," I groaned.

"Don't talk to me like that. I put a roof over your head, the least you can do is clean the house you're under!"

"Whatever," I said dragging myself back up to my room. I threw myself on my bed and felt like I was going to cry. After being at Carl and Darlene's then coming back to this was such a difference. I felt more at home there than I ever had here. My eyes started to slowly shut and just like that I was out.

The most annoying sound in the world started piercing through my ears. I had set my alarm earlier than normal because the group wanted to meet with Mrs. Robbins before school, since we couldn't after because of graduation rehearsal.

I rolled over and grabbed the first shirt I seen and threw it on. I grabbed my bag and headed down the stairs. I walked out to the sidewalk and seen Peter waiting for me.

"Getting up was hell for me this morning," Peter said, "I can't wait to be done with school."

"Tell me about it. Are you ready for tonight?"

"Oh definitely. I can't wait. I think I'm going to tell Megan how I feel about her tonight. I mean, it worked out well for you and Carter."

"That's awesome Peter. She'd be stupid not to like you," I swung my arm around him.

"You know, I always thought since you and I are best friends, that one of us would end up falling for one another and end up together."

I looked at him with wide eyes, "Really?"

He started laughing, "No, I was just kidding, but you should have seen your face."

I punched him in the arm, "I thought you were serious!"

"So do you think things are going to be different at school?"

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I mean, do you think when we walk in there, Mel will be with her soccer team, and Carter and Megan will be with the Pops?"
