Lauren stood outside of Camila's house dressed in her nicest outfit. She had yet to knock on the door or ring the bell due to nerves. To her, this was a date. She wasn't too sure if it was to Camila, but to her it was. She was going to treat it like one, anyway.

The older girl planned on picking Camila up, paying for her, and treating her in the most respectful way possible. She swallowed and lifted her hand, knocking on the gray door in front of her. Camila's house wasn't nearly as big as hers but it was still nice. Their front yard was decorated with cute flamingos and other lawn toys, a small brick pathway, and bright flowers.

She only waited a few moments before the door opened, revealing the girl she was there for. Camila seemed frazzled but still happy to see her. "Hi." She exhaled.

"Hello. I'm here to pick you up for our..." She paused, not knowing how to finish her sentence. She didn't want to make Camila uncomfortable by saying they were on a date. Sure, she asked her on a date but not in a very clear way. She thought it through a little longer. Yeah, they both admitted to liking each other and yeah Camila was the one who drew the... thing they were going to be doing. So it was. "Date." Lauren finished.

Camila nodded and smiled, "You can come in." She told her, moving aside a little so she could pass. Once Lauren was in the home, she looked around. It was cozy and cute. "I didn't realize my mom was going to leave me a huge list of chores to do today, so I'm not quite ready." She explained

"That's okay, I don't mind waiting." Lauren assured her, still standing in the entryway. She wasn't sure where she was allowed to go and didn't want to do something that wasn't okay.

"You can walk around, you know." Camila smiled at her. She thought it was cute the way the girl was trying to be so respectful. Lauren stepped deeper into the house and took a seat on the couch, looking up at Camila to see if she was going to say anything. "Would you like something to drink while you wait?" She asked.

"I'm okay." Lauren smiled.

Camila nodded, "Okay. I'm gunna go get ready, I shouldn't be long. You can turn on the TV if you want." She pointed to the remote sitting on the table in front of her. Lauren smiled.

The brunette quickly ran upstairs to her room. The truth was, she was extremely nervous. She's been on dates before but not with someone she truly liked. Not with someone who was as sweet as Lauren. She wanted everything to be perfect.

She threw the clothes she was wearing over her head and ran around her room frantically, trying to get ready as fast as possible. She didn't want to have Lauren waiting long. Camila washed her face and reapplied the minimal makeup she was previously wearing, put her outfit on, and fixed her hair up a little.

After spritzing a little perfume and putting on her shoes, Camila let out a breath and looked at herself in the mirror. She spun around slightly to make sure she looked presentable and grabbed her bag, exiting the room.

Lauren stood up when she heard Camila walking down stairs. Once the girl reached the last step, Lauren's jaw dropped. The girl standing in front of her looked absolutely stunning. "Do I look okay? I didn't want to under dress but I also didn't want to wear something too much, you know?" She asked.

"You look beautiful." Lauren told her, shaking her head back and forth in awe.

Camila blushed and looked down, "Thank you. Are you ready to go?" Lauren hummed in response, holding out her hand to lead the younger girl to her car. Camila gladly took it and stepped down, making her way to the door.

After locking the door behind her, she turned back around to face Lauren who was midway down the walkway. She waited for Camila to get to her before guiding her to her car. She unlocked it and quickly opened the door. A bouquet of flowers was sitting on the seat.
