After a couple months of living in their cozy little apartment, Dinah, Camila and Lauren established a whole living system and schedule for their apartment life. They were definitely growing into organized young adults. One lazy weekend, the three friends were watching Netflix on their big, comfy couch. They finished all of their chores the day before and had all day to relax.

Lauren had her head resting in her girlfriends' lap, Dinah had her body sprawled out on the opposite side of the couch, and Camila sat with her head back and her hand in Lauren's hair. All throughout this episode of The Office, Camila noticed Lauren pushing her fingers into her mouth.

Usually, she would find this action super hot. But this time Camila could tell something was wrong. She kept moving her tongue around and making uncomfortable faces. Lauren rubbed her jaw and cringed with every bite of food, too. As they were sitting there, Camila decided to ask about it. "Babe, are you alright? You can't stop touching your mouth."

"My teeth hurt for some reason." Lauren said. "My jaw in the back." She rubs her cheeks with her fingers. "It's just been bugging me for a couple days."

Camila frowned and shifted in her spot. "Open your mouth and move your tongue." She instructed.

"That's what she said." Dinah and Lauren recite at the same time, then turn to grin at each other.

The brunette shook her head. "Michael is rubbing off on you." She told them, nodding her head at the TV. "Come here, bug." Lauren situated herself in front of her girlfriend and slowly opened her mouth because of how much pain she was in. Camila tilted her head upwards so the light would shine in her mouth. "Ay, Lauren." She cringed. "Your gums are all swollen. Have you been poking at them?"

Lauren made a noise in response. Dinah scooted over to see what was going on. She looked inside Lauren's mouth and hummed. After getting out her phone and turning the flashlight on, she made a face. "Yeah, Lauren. You should get that checked out."

"Want me to call your mom so she can set up a doctor's appointment? Or a dentist appointment?" She questioned, not sure which one would be more beneficial for the situation.

Dinah stopped her. "Lemmie just look up her symptoms online before she spends a shit ton of money. What's been bugging you?" The taller girl asks, her phone ready in hand. As Lauren listed everything that was wrong, Dinah typed it in. "Alright..." She said as it was loading. "Is your jaw broken?" She tries.

"I don't think so." Lauren says, furrowing her eyebrows. "It doesn't feel broken, I don't think. Well I've never broken anything before so I'm not sure but I imagine it would be excruciating." She answers.

"A gum infection?" Dinah says. "I mean your gums looked a more red than usually but I don't think they're infected. Lemmie see..." She scrolls through more links. Dinah gasps. "Your wisdom teeth! Maybe your wisdom teeth are coming in. Open your mouth again." She said, leaning closer to the green eyed girl.

Lauren opened her mouth again. "Dinah, I don't think you can see them." Camila said. "I'm going to call your mom, alright sweets?" Lauren nodded, her mouth still open so Dinah could get a better look at her teeth. "Even if it's not your wisdom teeth it wouldn't hurt to get it checked out."

Lauren's mom answered on the second ring. It wasn't often that she got a call from her daughter's girlfriend. "Hello, Camila. Is everything alright?"

"Everything is fine, Mrs. Jauregui. Lauren and I are both safe and healthy." Camila answered, understanding her urgency. The older woman has definitely scared her with an unexpected phone call on more than one occasion. "I just wanted to call to tell you that we think Lauren's wisdom teeth are coming in."
