My name is Tiana Jones. I'm the schools biggest loser and nerd. No ones really nice to me. They all call me fat and ugly. It hurts my feelings but I never stand up for myself. I just put my head down and keep on walking. I hate school so much. Thank God I'm 17 and school will be over for me soon. I've never had a boyfriend before. I've never met my dad. I live with my mom and big brother. My big brother name is Damion he's 19. My mom name is Tarah. My mom is barely home. She's always working at the hospital and taking as much extra hour shifts as she can get. And when she is home...She's either sleeping or complaining about something. She can use very mean words when she wants to.
"Tiana! Pay attention in my class!" Ms.Wilson screamed. I said nothing.
"Damn she's so fat I can't believe she didn't brake that chair already." I heard Morrise whisper.
I could feel the tears building up in my eyes ready to spill. But I didn't let them slip. Brriiiinnggg! The bell rang. I got up from my chair and left the room.
"Hey ugly, how'd you get so fat?" One of the boys on the football team asked. The whole football team made fun of me except for one boy on the football team he never said anything mean to me before, he usually just sit back and laugh when his friends make fun of me. I said nothing as they continued to make smart remarks about me. Why does my life have to be so hard? Why do I have to go through this?! I ran in my broke down car and cried. I cried and cried and cried. Suddenly their was a knock on my car window. I looked at my surroundings and realised I was still in the school parking lot.
"Hey I'm Davion. You dropped your notebook on the floor." It was the boy on the football team that never said anything to me.
"Uhm... Thanks."
"Whatever fat ass." Was all he replied and walked away to join his friends. Damn that really hurt my feelings. I guess he wasn't the only boy on the footbal team that never said anything mean to me anymore. Tears slid down my cheeks as I made my way to my big brother's college to pick him up. His car broke down so I'm gonna be picking him up from college for a while.
"Wassup sis, what's wrong?" Damion has always been my best friend he just turned 19. I know what your thinking. How can you be best friends with you're big brother? Well when your raised in a house where you feel like all you have is your little brother or sister that makes you become very close to your siblings.
"I'm fine." I didn't want to tell Damion. Last time I told him about this boy pushing me to the floor and spit on me in the hallways at school, he beat the living hell out of the boy. Damion is well built and tall. He's 6 ft. He wants to become a basketball player.
"You're lying."
"No I'm not. Seriously I'm fine."
"But-"
"Just leave it alone, Damion!"
He said nothing after that. And I was glad. When we got home I made spaghetti for dinner. After dinner I went straight up to my room and started on my homework. Mom wasn't home yet when I was done so I assumed she must have taken and extra shift at work as usual.
I went to bed thinking about school. I really didn't want to go to school but I knew it was an obligation not an option.
