Tiana's POV
"Nigga what the fuck is wrong with you??? Are you gonna close your mouth and let me in the house so I can get Tella?"
"Uhm... yea come in.Tella's in the kitchen." He gave me a weird look then came in.
"Davion. Sweetie what are you doing here?" Mrs.Hernandez asked.
"Oh hey mom. And I came to pick Tella up. Her mom told me to do her the favor."
"I thought you had a football game?" Tella blurted. She knew this was very uncomfortable for me.
"I did and it finished. How long do you think a football game last?" Davion asked with an attitude.
"Wait, I thought you only had two kids?" my mom interfered.
"Tarah, I said I have two kids and a stepson. Davion is my son and Jay is my stepson. My daughter couldn't come today because she's sleeping over my mother's house. And Davion said he wouldn't be able to make it because of his football game. "
"Oh well, Davion since your here I'll make you a plate. You can take a seat next to Tiana."
Oh great now he has to sit next to me.
"Oh so your the Ms.Jones my mom been talking about working with? I knew it that last name sounded familiar." Davion turned his head slowly and looked at me with a smirk on his face. I just looked down and started playing with my food. Tella tapped me and gave me an apologetic smile. I smiled back.
"Yea, I knew it that last name sounded familiar also." Jay said while smiling at me.
"So you talk to my sister at school?" Damion spoke for the first time since dinner started.
"Oh yea we're really good friends." Jay answered.
"Hmm funny because the boys she usually talks about they don't seem like they're really good friends to her." Damion glared at Jay. So I guess Damion isn't getting a good vibe from Jay neither. At this point I thought their eyes were about to pop out of their heads from glaring at each other.
The grown ups were so busy talking they didn't even realise what was going on.
"Everybody done eating? My mom asked.
"Yes." We all answered simultaneously.
"I'll wash the dishes." I said to my mom as everybody got up to go sit in the living room.
"Thanks sweetie." My mom said as she left the kitchen.
As I washed the dishes I heard foot steps walk into the kitchen.
"Having fun washing those dishes?"
I looked up at him like he was crazy. Why is he talking to me?
