MAINE..

After getting our tickets, we were walking to the boarding gate. Richard was listening to music while I kept on walking and walking.
I became really curious because of our luggage. They look exactly the same. But I didn't bother telling him about it. I saw the stitch on his shoulder and wondered what was it about.

"Richard"... I said

"Yes"? He said

"What happened to your shoulder"? I said

"Oh. This is nothing". He said

"Wow! Please tell me the reason why you have a stitch on your shoulder". I said

"It was during high school. I fractured my shoulder in a basketball game. I wasn't able to play for the rest of the conference due to it. I asked my dad for a total rest from school without stressing me too much. When I got back from the recovery, I was still awarded as best player of the conference due to my unbelievable defense and scores when I was still there. I was able to attend the other games but was not able to play them. I just cheered for my teammates and they were inspired to play even more because of me. The head coach allowed me to show and teach the team the techniques that I used during my time". He said

"Then"? I said

"I tried to get back to school in time for the final exams before graduation. My dad didn't want me to go yet because of my shoulder but I insisted to because I needed to take it or else I have to repeat forth year, before I could be able to graduate. My father couldn't do anything anymore because it was be more better for me. So I was able to graduate on time, I was the class valedictorian. Everyone in the auditorium were touched with my speech and for my decision to take care of my studies than the situation of my shoulder. After the ceremony, everyone came and surprised me with a congrats party and there was another announcement recognizing me for my dedication from my teammates in the basketball team. Our school's head coach was very understanding due to my situation". He said with tears falling down his face..

I hugged him as tight as I could. His tears were like the time he lost his mother years ago. I comforted him and told him to just do something that he is interested to do.

"Richard. Do something that you like to do to forget about it". I said as he hugged me even tighter than mine..

He couldn't reply back to what I said. So I thought of talking about something else to him.

"Richard. What have you planned to do in France"? I said excitedly

"A lot! Food trips, visiting famous spots, go boating, dates, watching the stars, walking together on the sidewalks, and so much more. What do you want to do there"? He said with a smile on his face

"Shopping, buy gifts to bring home. That's what I like to do". I said

"I'm so excited to visit France once again ". He said

"I haven't been to France yet. I want to thank you so much for deciding to bring me there"! I said

"Good thing I decided to bring you there". He said

"Please tell me about your first trip there, I really want to know what I am supposed to expect there". I said

"My first trip there was when I was 15 years old. My dad wanted me to experience French side of him that I needed to learn. It was the best trip because I was able to buy the things I haven't seen yet. I enjoyed it the most because it was during the week of my birthday. I spent a whole week there celebrating my birthday with people I am close with. I was given the greatest gift in my life which was a trip to France and be able to buy a pair of Jordan basketball shoes with Jordan's signature printed on it. When I experienced the trip. I didn't expect that it would become the unexpected side of France that I know. Dad even told me that he bought me a house and a car here. I could use it every time I visit here. It was quite sad because Mom wasn't there because she was sick". He said
