Amberpaw awoke in the medicine den. The gashes on her body still aching. She stood up, trying to walk outside. She went outside, the early sun shined on her Amber colored pelt. She sniffed around for Graypaw. Oh yeah, not so long till he becomes a warrior. It's getting closer.
I'm going to lose Graypaw.. for good.. sadness clouded her eyes. It's gonna be a while before I become a warrior, like 2 more moons now. His is a coming up shortly. Amberpaw gathered along with a group of cats. Ravenstar was talking at the highrock. "Now we are all aware of what had happened last night.. We will make sure this doesn't happen again.."
Ravenstar's words rang throughout the camp. "Goldenstar has no right to ambush us and try to take our territory. But our clan can't take on Riverclan all the time. I know how she never gives up. The cats that feel fit to hunt and go do so now."
Ravenstar hopped down the highrock. Amberpaw padded over to Graypaw. Yes! He's alone!
"Hello Graypaw, want to go hunting?" Graypaw nodded slowly. "You feel fit to hunt?"
Amberpaw nodded. They both padded onto the moorland to catch something.. anything.
"Spottedpaw is wounded and she's not fit to hunt, I feel so bad for her."
Is that his way of telling me that he doesn't care for me?
Amberpaw nodded. A fat black bird flew down. Graypaw dashed at it and missed it. Before it could fly away, I jumped at it and killed it with one swift blow.
She buried the prey and they were looking around for more. "Wait, Graypaw, smell that? I smell Windclan!"
Graypaw sniffed the air. "Yea I do! And it's fresh!"
Amberpaw quickly hopped into a bush and grabbed Graypaw and pulled him in too.
She put her tail over his mouth. A Riverclan patrol was hunting in the spot. "Ha! Windclan deserves this! It's our prey now!" Spat a brown apprentice. A warrior who was with the apprentice had long white fur. He had blue eyes.
Without thinking, Graypaw pounced at the white cat with force. Amberpaw hopped out of the Bush and slammed into the brown apprentice. The brown cat went spiraling backward. The white cat hissed at Graypaw and knocked him to the ground.
Amberpaw rushed into the white cat and knocked him back. The two Riverclan cats fled. "Yea you better run you cowards!" Spat Amberpaw. "We need to tell Ravenstar that Riverclan Is hunting on our territory!"
Amberpaw nodded.
Amberpaw dug up her black bird and carried it in her jaws back to camp.

Once they got back to camp, Graypaw rushed over to Ravenstar. "Ravenstar! Riverclan is hunting in our territory!"
Ravenstar's fur bristled angerly. "Goldenstar Is trying to intimate me! I already know it!"
Amberpaw placed the blackbird on the pile and watched Graypaw. Spottedpaw limps out of the medicine den. Really! Those wounds aren't even that bad! They're not even CLOSE to matching my wounds! She's clearly fake limping!
Amberpaw rolled her eyes.
Fine if Graypaw really likes a cat like that than fine!
Amberpaw glanced over at Swiftleaf, she looked tired out and same with her apprentice. She really needs some rest.
I padded over to Swiftleaf. "Do you need any help?"
She shook her head. "No but thanks."
Swiftleaf padded away to the fresh kill pile to eat. Icesong, a mother of 3 kits, padded out of the nursery. 3 kits followed, two she cats and a tom. The first she kit who was black and white, was named Blossomkit. The next she kit was named Tinykit, she was pure black. The last tom kit was pure white, his name is Frostkit.
Icesong started licking her kits to look presentable. Ravenstar called a clan meeting. All the cats gathered around. Tinykit, Blossomkit, and Frostkit sat down beneath the highrock. Ravenstar smiled and looked down on them. "These three kits are now 6 moons old, old enough to become apprentices."
"Blossomkit, you will be known as Blossompaw. Your mentor will be Snaketail. Please pass down your skills to this young cat."
Snaketail padded over and touched noses with Blossompaw.
"Tinykit, you will be known as Tinypaw, your mentor will be Willowstripe."
Willowstripe touched noses with her new apprentice.
"Frostkit, you will now be known as Frostpaw. Your mentor will Fuzztail."
Fuzztail padded over and touched noses with him.
Icesong had warmth in her icy blue eyes. She looked proud of her new apprentices. "TINYPAW, FROSTPAW, BLOSSOMPAW!"
The clan cheered for the new apprentices. Amberpaw padded over to the new apprentices and passed them a large blackbird that Amberpaw caught.
The new apprentices purred in amusement. Tinypaw took a bite out of the blackbird and took a big gulp. She licked her lips. Frostpaw took a nibble of it and purred raising his tail slowly. Blossompaw didn't take any bites. "Aren't you hungry Blossompaw?"
She shook her head. "No, I'm fine Amberpaw."
She's acting a little strange. "If you say so." Graypaw padded over towards them. "Great job guys!" Graypaw purred. Tinypaw answered for all of them. "Thanks Graypaw!"
Blossompaw padded over to the apprentice den. "What's wrong with her?" Graypaw started. All her littermates gave him a confused look. "We don't know, she's always been this way." Frostpaw said in a curious tone. I wonder what she's hiding. If she's hiding anything.
Blossompaw has already curled up in her nest and fell asleep. Graypaw started. "She's sleeping this early? The sun just started going down."
Amberpaw padded inside the den. Blossompaw was fast asleep in her nest. I wish her luck for her first training day..

The sun rose in the clearing. Amberpaw got up and stretched. She let out a yawn. Graypaw was sleeping by Spottedpaw. At least he's happy.. but why does this hurt me so bad? Graypaw slowly got up and yawned. "Oh hey Amberpaw, today is my hunting assessment! I'm becoming a warrior today!"
His words stung Amberpaw's heart like bees. "Good luck!"
He dipped his head to me and padded off.
I padded out of the den to eat some morning kill. She picked up a rabbit from the pile and nibbled at it. I'll give the rest to the elders, why not. She padded over to the elders den and there were two she elders in there.
"Oh hey ya sunny!" A misty she elder said. "My name is Mistybreeze, just in case you don't know me." The second she cat was asleep.
I pushed the rabbit over to Mistybreeze. She let out a strong purr. "Thanks Amberpaw!" She bit into the rabbit and chewed it up. Amberpaw padded out of the den. Graypaw was already gone, he was on his hunting assignment. I'll miss him when he becomes a warrior.. I'll have no one to really talk to anymore.
Amberpaw hung her head down. She sat down in the clearing scanning the area for Ravenstar. He was standing by his den. I don't want to interrupt Graypaw in the middle of his assignment. So I won't go hunting. I'll wait here till he gets back.
