Amberpaw trotted across to the fresh kill pile. I bit into a rabbit and chewed it up. Graylight padded over to me. "Amberpaw! Spottedshine is a warrior now! Now me and her can finally be together even closer!" He purred in delight. Amberpaw paid him no mind. She didn't even look at him. She just continued eating.
"Uh, Amberpaw? Are you feeling okay?" Graylight asked slightly annoyed. Once Amberpaw finished, she padded over to Hollythorn and they both left to the training area. Graylight gave out a confused look.

Her and Hollythorn sparred and Amberpaw kept winning each time. Hollythorn soon got tired and gave up. Amberpaw and her trotted back to camp without a word. The sun was falling on the horizon. Once they both got back Graylight was laughing with Spottedshine, but Amberpaw didn't even look at them.
But on the inside... she was burning with rage and hurt. Graylight came over to her. "Hey Amberpaw! How did training go?" Amberpaw brushed past him, not uttering a word. He's ignored me plenty of times, now it's his turn. Amberpaw padded into the apprentice den. The den felt so empty. It was a little early to sleep but she didn't care.
She curled up in her nest and was still awake. She just stared at nothing. The only apprentices left in there were her, tinypaw, Frostpaw, and Blossompaw. They weren't in there yet. Graylight and Spottedpaw were probably cuddling in the nest together. I wouldn't be surprised.
She drifted off to sleep and had a nightmare. Spottedshine leaped at her pinning her to the ground. "You good for nothing little kittypet! You tried to ruin my chances but nope! You can't!" Spottedshine spat. She clawed at my chest and blood sprayed out. I slid out my claws and clawed her in the face. Spottedshine skidded back.
Amberpaw's wound wasn't that big or noticeable. Just some blood came out. Her fur bristled with pure hatred. She leaped at me again but I dodged it and swiped at her side.

After that, Amberpaw woke up. Aw that was just a dream!? I'd love to do that in real life! It was still early in the morning and barely any cats were up. Once she plodded out of the den she looked at the warriors den. Spottedshine leaped out and shot me a glare. I rolled my eyes and went on a morning hunt.
I padded into the moorland looking around for any prey. There was a rabbit coming out of a hole. It looked around very quickly but didn't notice me stalking it. It sniffed around the grass for any food. Since the days were getting colder, not many prey was around and food for prey.
She leaped at the rabbit and quickly killed it. She prayed to Starclan for the life she had taken. She buried her prey and went over towards a river to get a drink. She lapped up some water and went back. She grabbed her prey and took it back to camp.
She placed it on the pile and looked around. More cats were up now. Graylight came up to her and spoke. "Amberpaw, we need to talk." Amberpaw titled her head to the side. She nodded and followed him behind the warriors den. Once they got there, they sat down.
Graylight sighed. "Amberpaw, do you have feelings for me?" Amberpaw shook in fear. She didn't know what to say, so she didn't say anything. She just looked down at her paws. "Well, Amberpaw, in case you do, I have feelings for Spottedshine. I love her, not you..." He said with an honest tone.
A stab of hurt hit her heart. "That's how it always is... you love her and that's the end of it.." Amberpaw sighed. She left the area without another word. Graylight felt awful for saying that. Amberpaw's ears flattened in the distance.
