Emma and her newly wed husband, Dylan have just bought their new house! Its perfect, and far better than living with her parents. She though has to drag along her 9th grade brother, Tyler who had failed out of his school and was forced to go to a better school where Emma and Dylan lived. He hated it there. Emma though loved it there! It was a big house, and had extra room if a family should develop.  But what they didn't know, was their neighbors. The Black residence. No one knew what secrets unfolded in that house, and anyone who did enter never seemed to come back. With no one to officially  have ever met the Blacks', will Emma, Dylan and Tyler be the firsts?

"Come on Emma! You obviously know what happened! why not tell us now?" Tyler demanded thrusting the cup of water into my face. Dylan grabbed the cup and set it on the coffee table. "Tyler, relax. She seems a bit shaken up why not give her some room?" he demanded.

Thank you Dylan! i thought in my mind. I really did know what had just occured downstairs in the creepy old basement but i wasn't sure exactly what had happened.

Confused? Me too.

He sat on the edge of the sofa and stroked my cheek.

"Em, can you tell us what happened?" he asked calmy. I nodded slowly and try to collect my thoughts.

A black figure had apeared while i was unpacking downstairs... and then the light bulb hanging from the ceiling got really really bright and burst into a million peices. There was a high pitched sqeal and everything seemed to go into time.

Now why couldn't I have just said that to them? i got my thoughts collected once more and recited exactly what i had just thought.

Tyler of course looked at me as though i had three heads, and Dylan just looked utterly confused.

"So you're going to make me believe that there was a figure in the basement? I just checked down there and there wasnt a soul to be seen, expect maybe for us." Tyer said.

"Ya, are you sure baby? Maybe you were just stressed out and had a head ache. Could've imagioned it!" Dylan suggested. I ripped off the blanket that was over me and get up from the couch.

"You honestly think i was lying?!" i spit, my head dizzy from standing up so quickly but i don't sit, i was angry.

"Babe, you have to be in reailty here. There wasnt anything down there." Dylan said he grabbed my hand but i shook it off.   I WASNT LYING! i wanted to scream. I would never ever lie about something so scary as that!

"Then how do you explain all of the glass from the light bulb shattered all around the floor?!" I cried crossing my arms. Tyler gets up from the couch and said "I'll go have a look again." He disapeared into the kitchen, and i highly doubt he was actually checking again. Dylan grabbed and flings me back onto the couch. he hugged me tightly. "Just relax and take a deep breath." he said in his meaningful voice. He was totally ignoring the question and trying to make me forget! He kissed my chin.

"Did i ever tell you how beautfiul you are?" he asked. i ripped his arms away from me and yet again, jumped up.

"Do not, bribe me!! I know your tricks!" I cried and stomped off to our bedroom. I slammed the door shut, and marched over to our bed. I flopped down onto the bed and sulk.

Just like i thought Tyler would do.
