Star sighed. She kicked the bedpost.

"Sooooooooo bored! I wish Marco was home from karate practice already!" she exclaimed.
Star picked up a little lazer puppy that had wandered into her room. She pet it gently and the little puppy looked up at her with sad eyes.

"Awwww, aren't you cute. There's no need for worry though. Marco should be home soon. I didn't know he had karate on Fridays though. Special practice?" Star sighed again. Suddenly she sat up.

"I know what to do! Banagic wand poowwweerr!!!!!!

Star rushed down the stairs in excitement. Or rather fell down the stairs. "Ooff!" She jumped back up and brushed herself off. "Maybe too much power. Anyways, To the kitchen!!!!!!!!!!!!"

She grabbed the Banagic wand off the top of the fridge, and a banana off the counter. "Banagic tiiiiiiimmmme!" Just as Star was about to slide the banana into the "magic" wand, the door opened. "Marco!!!!!!!" She yelled.

"Nope, just me." Mrs. Diaz replied to the "Marco Welcoming Comitie" .
"Awww," Star slumped.
"When's Marco gonna be home? It's so boring here without him."
"I don't know Star, but you always have good ol' me for company!" Mrs. Diaz said merrily, squeezing Star. "But don't karate practices have fixed times?" Star mumbled.

"He'll text me when I need to go pick him up, but for now don't worry. He has to be home for dinner. Tonight we're having my famous salsa!" Mrs. Diaz danced to the kitchen.

Star grumbled and stormed up to her room.

"Well, I can at least get some homework in. Not that I really want to do it, but might as well get some of it knocked out." Star pulled out her backpack and began to rummage through the mess.
"Banana peel. Nope."
" Lazer puppy. Uh uh."
"Bicycle wheel. Nada."
"Dimensional scissors. No."
"Baby dragon taken from another dimension. Definitely not."
"One of Ludo's hats. How did that get in there?"
"Homework! Finally!" Star walked to her desk.
"Let's see, page 36 through page 245. Too much homework!" Star spent the entire afternoon doing her 209 pages of homework. Finally Mrs. Diaz called her down for dinner.

"Where's Marco?" Star asked yet again.
"I have no idea. He should have been home by now." Mrs. Diaz replied, her face scrunching up in worry.

Suddenly Marco came strutting through the door like he'd won the lottery. "Hey Star!" He said happily.
"Marco, what's up with you?" Star said cautiously.
"Nothing! I've never been better!"
"Well, I'm just going to ignore the fact that you look like you just became karate champion of the world and ask WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL AFTERNOON!!!!!!!!" Star screamed in his face. "I almost DIED of boredom!"
"Oh, well, uhhh, just karate. And then I went to to uhh, the iHop down the street." He said, but something in his face told Star something was off.
"You still have room for my...... Salsa! Right?" Mrs. Diaz said enthusiasticly.
"Actually no. I ate a big uh dinner breakfast there." And then he darted up the stairs like a bullet.

"He loves my salsa though!" Mrs. Diaz cried.
"Something is up with him, and I will find out what or my name isn't Star Butterfly!" Star declared.

Yay! I got it! I know in my Updates and Stuffs I said I wouldn't get it done for a while, but I got it done! *happy dance* The chapters will be a little short though, since I only have a very limited time to write them right now! Bye!
