Chapter 8: Dream-walking

Star couldn't believe it. Tom had taken over her best friend on Earth. How could he even do that? He didn't have that kind of power. He couldn't have done that. If he had truly loved her, he would know how much stealing Marco would've hurt her.
Star had no idea what was going on, or even if Marco was ok. She pulled her hair trying to come up with a plan. In the end she decided to sleep on it, for pulling her hair out wasn't going to solve anything.
"Maybe this is all a dream, and when I wake up in the morning, everything will be back to normal again," she murmured into her pillow before falling into nightmare once again.

Star could hear Tom speaking to someone in a chair facing away from her. Marco's body lay by the chair.
"How will I convince her now? I cannot go back without Marco's body as my puppet. And someone will notice-"
The figure hissed suddenly.
"Someone is here..."
"What!?"
"I can only sense their presence. They aren't in a physical form."
Something the figure must've been holding clattered to the floor.
"She's dream-walking! The Papillon is here!" He hissed
"What?! Impossible! She can't dream-walk! It takes years of experience and practice and she's way too young!" Tom gasped.
"We've said too much. She knows too much."
Star gasped and tried to run. She accidentally knocked over something that looked like a troll foot umbrellz stand, which made her trip. Tom stalked torwards Star.

Star screamed as something began to smother her. She pushed it away and found herself in her bed once more, strangled by blankets.
