Once upon a Pond

Once upon a pond, Chris the tadpole lived with his 4 sisters and step parents who were Anthropologists who were trying to understand why the tadpoles in this pond stay tadpoles for the rest of their life. On a crisp October morning  Chris the tadpole was observing one of his parents' experiments when it backfired and he grew mutant legs! Chris, because of his mutant legs, was greatly criticized and thoroughly frowned upon. The tadpole republic held a meeting on the civil rights of mutant tadpoles and whether they could be considered citizens or not. Over the course of several meetings and polls it was decided that the science that lead to Chris' mutation was no longer condoned and Chris himself was banished from the
pond.
