Jack POV

I went back to my house and that's when I remembered about Spring. I hadn't really been around for a little while and I felt bad. I'll take the award for shittiest parent.

I walked down the hall to Spring's room and knocked twice.

"Hey bug, can you open the door?" I asked my ear pressed against the door.

"No."

"C'mon Spring"

"No."

I sighed.

"Ok fine I don't have to come in, I'm sorry I didn't remember to get you from the park alright? I'm going to sleep but I love you"

and as much as she probably didn't want me to, I heard her mumble a small 'I love you' back.

I laid in my bed because it's comfortable and beds are meant to be laid on. My phone buzzed.

'iMessage from lexii'

I still have that stupid bracelet you gave me if you want it back.

I had almost forgot I had given her a small charm bracelet a few weeks ago.

can you please just meet me and Sam at the trader joes down by my house?

Sam was there too mane he can just help me explain.
