chapter 7

Spring's POV

My dad was being ridiculous right now. How was my mom not a good mother figure? And to cover it up saying she ran away from her daughter? Thats cold. I was just sitting on my bed texting Skylar furiously about what had happened.

I decided to go over her house so we could talk more. I started walking down the stairs and I heard my parents talking.

"you lied to her and said i kicked you out. what kind of sick person lies to their daughter like that?!" I heard my dad yell. Wait my mom was lying to me? i listened closer.

"I just want to fit into this family like before" she said all innocently. I can't believe this. All this time I thought I had my mom back. She was trying to turn my dad and I against eachother?! I can't believe it.

I need time to think.

Jack G POV

After Hayden left I needed to get out of the house. Just for air. Wait. Damn I have a meet and greet in like an hour. Johnson is supposed to introduce me to some girl later. She's probably a huge fan or something.

"Spring!" I yelled. She didn't reply. "Spring?" I called again. I walked upstairs. She was sitting
On her bed just staring into space. "Is everything ok?" I asked taking a seat next to her.

"I thought mom was back for real." She said.

Oh no. She heard us talking. Well we weren't talking I was yelling because Hayden is a f*cking train wreck.

(Don't judge we're being PG here😂)

"Me too Spring. I know you were really excited to have your mom back. Sorry things didn't work out baby" I said hugging her.

"I'm never gonna have a mom am I?" She asked.

"Well if I get lucky and meet the right girl maybe you will one day. But for now it's just you and I bud" I said and kisses her forehead. She nodded.

"So we have to go to a meet and greet soon or uncle Jack in going to kill us." I said.

"Can't I stay here? Please?" She begged. I shook my head.

"Nope you are coming with me because I don't need you to be raped while I'm gone" I said. "Now go get ready" I told her and hugged her again.

Spring POV

I guess I'm forced to go to this thing. Don't get me wrong I love fans they're Awesome. But after awhile the same words and stuff are being said and I get bored. Oops.

Anyway I put on my outfit (above) ,grabbed my phone (also above its a 5s) and then walked downstairs to see my dad waiting for me.

"Leggo" he said and we walked out the door and got into the car. We arrived at the venue and successfully snuck in through the back door to meet up with Uncle Jack and this girl my dad was supposed to meet.

"Okay so Jack this is Alexis. She goes by Alex or Lexie." Uncle Jack said. She was pretty. Like REALLY pretty. She was about a few inches taller than me and I'm 4'9 so she must be like 5'0. And she looked like she had really good fashion sense.

She was wearing black skinny jeans, a grey sweater with a cute black heart on it, grey vans and a white/gray beanie. Her beautiful dark brown hair with lighter tips is straightened to a perfect content and she had the best smile in the world.

"Uhm..hi..I'm uh Jack I think you know that though it's great to finally meet you your really pretty. Wait. Sorry" he laughed nervously.

"It's okay" she giggled. He totally likes her. I saw all the other guys and ran over to hug them. Hayes was with a girl a little taller than me. Maybe 4'11. She was pretty too. She was wearing high waisted shorts and a light pink floral shirt and pink flats.

I was talking to her and Hayes and figured out that her name was Desirae. We made Hayes go away so we could talk.

"I'm getting pulled away from my girlfriend" he pouted.

"Yea yea whatever go away so we can talk" I said shoving him over to his brother.

"I don't want him!" Nash said and shoved him to Cam. They all repeated the same pattern, shoving hayes around and stuff. We let them use him as a human beach ball and continued on talking.

While she told me some of the hobbies she has I noticed that in the corner of my eye my dad was Alexis a piece of paper. His number. Omfg.

Maybe this sounds crazy but...could she be my new mom?
