chapter 5

Jack G POV

2:00 am June 13th, on a Tuesday(got da club goin up)

I was half asleep when I picked up the phone. It was unknown caller.

"Hello?" I mumbled, falling asleep slowly as each second passed.

"Hi..Jack umm this is...this is Hayden"

well I wasn't tired anymore that's for sure. I didn't know what I felt. I was surprised and...angry? I'm confusing myself right now.

"Hayden?"

"Yeah...Jack I-"

"Where did you go"

"Jack that's the-"

"Where did you go?" I said a bit more sternly.

"I went back to Florida with family ok?" She didn't sound like she was lying.

"Why?" I asked.

"Death threats. Some of your fans were so angry with me they said if I came back to you they would come and kill me. So they lied to some people and it spread. Rumor was I was dating some guy I met over the Internet and I was dating multiple men" she explained.

"Well can you tell me why you didn't just tell me? I could've helped you Hay" I said.

Hayden POV

"I could've helped you Hay" he said. He used my nickname. The one he gave to me when we first met. It was simple but I missed it while I was in Florida.

"You didn't need that in your life" I said

"I WOULDVE HELPED " he yelled.

"Listen Jack I just called because..listen I want to come back to LA"

It was quiet.

Jack G POV

she wants to come back? I mean she was gone for 8 years so maybe she had time to think. I mean she should've if she left her daughter for 8 years she must've had to think about something...right?

"Take the first flight in"
