My POV:
"What kind of scare?" Elise asked.
"You'll see." I smirked.
"Just follow us home." I said and continued on home.
The Company followed us home and then saw where we lived.
"Kee, look, they must be royalty!" Fili said.
I turned around and started walking backwards.
"If we were royalty, would we be walking home?" I questioned.
"What the...? How did...?" Fili said.
"I may be wearing glasses to help me see, but that doesn't make me deaf. Being hard of seeing enhances your hearing. Oin would know." I said.
"How did you know that?" Oin asked.
"Oh, yeah. The education system in this time is better than the education system from your time. That's why I know so much. Plus I read. I might be as smart as Balin or Gandalf, possibly more." I said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"Prove it!" Kili challenged.
"Defenestration: Verb; To throw someone out of a window." I said.
"The lass is right..." Balin said.
"Tell us more!" Kili continued.
"Come on! I just got back from work! And I'm sweaty and I have to go pee. I don't want to think. Plus it's Friday!" I complained.
"TMI!!!!!!!" Elise and James screamed.
"Come on, let's just go I side and give them that I was talking about." I said walked inside.
Later (an hour or two we got home):
"James, get some popcorn and some drinks along with other snacks." I commanded.
"Elise, call Lexi downstairs and tell her that we're going to play a game." I told my sister.
"BOMBUR! Get out of the fridge! That's the fifteenth snack you had in that last 5 minutes!" I told him because he was eating everything in sight.
"Oh my god! Ori, that's not a slingshot! That's my bra!" I shrieked.
"Fili! Kili! Don't even think on pranking me or anyone in this house!"
"Nori! Give me my kindle!"
"Bombur!"
"Bofur! Not my Consulting Detective hat!"
"Bilbo, cane you not smoke in the house?!"
"She seems really tense." Thorin said to Gandalf.
"Of course I'm tense, Thorin. I'm always tense." I said in a creepy voice and made my head turn around (like in the movies) so then I was facing the dwarf leader.
Eventually everyone was in the living room with snacks and drinks.
"What's the scare gonna be?" Asked Lexi.
"FnaF." I said.
"What's that?" Thorin asked.
"It means Five Nights at Freddy's, but I can't tell you any more, it will ruin the game!"
